At an altitude of approx. 600 meters above sea level, at the end of a cul-de-sac, surrounded by nature, you will find our vacation cottage. Although in the middle of the forest, you are only about 10 km from the nearest supermarket, gas station, etc. In our fast-moving time, this should be a place to enjoy time in nature and tranquility. During your stay, we look forward to a visit to the Bio Schusterbauerhof - La Paca (approx. 10 minutes by car from the cottage) The space This is a small house at 600 meters above sea level, from the highway exit Mooskirchen approx. 18 minutes away, coming from Graz via Steinbergstraße about 34 minutes, you are on a spacious clearing surrounded by: NATURE and TRANQUILITY. 2 bedrooms each with a double bed (in one of the two bedrooms there is also an extra bed) – the cottage is therefore designed for a maximum of 4 adults 1 small bathroom with toilet, sink and a "half" bathtub, one hand towel and one bath towel are provided per guest 1 kitchen with dining area (table and 4 armchairs), equipped with oven, three hotplates, a sink, kettle, microwave, coffee machine and complete kitchen utensils (plates, cutlery, pots, glasses...) 1 anteroom with refrigerator, coat rack... Outside you will find a table, chairs and a fire bowl/grill for nice barbecues. Where the fox and hare say "good night"... at the edge of the forest surrounded by meadow & nature, at the end of a paved private road. The journey is effortless on paved roads and parking space is more than sufficient. Although in the middle of the forest, you are only 8 minutes away from the nearest supermarket, as well as gas station, bank, etc. The cottage is the last house on this cul-de-sac. In addition, there is a barrier that forces misguided vehicles to turn around 200 m in front of the cottage. "Small but nice" is probably the best way to put it. The cottage is modestly furnished and offers pretty much everything, but no luxury. Our cottage is a "self-catering accommodation"- However, one or the other farmer in the vicinity is certainly happy if he can pass on one or the other egg, his bread, the wood-aged apple cider vinegar or other regional products to the guest. If you want to go to the supermarket, there is a Spar in Stallhofen (8.5 km) & Spar, Hofer, Billa Plus in Voitsberg (7.5 km). BIPA, DM and other shops can also be found there. At night you can hear either nocturnal animals, trees in the wind, rain pattering and/or just nothing... We have lovingly prepared this small cottage to allow people/families to spend time in nature. In this fast-paced time, we find it nice to be able to offer a place where it is possible to retreat and enjoy peace and quiet. We now run our agricultural and forestry business, which has been run for generations - Bio Schusterbauerhof (10 minutes by car from the cottage). During your stay in the cottage you are welcome on our farm. Get to know our wildlife (alpacas & donkeys), insights into farm life and get an honest look behind the scenes. On site you will also find a small rest area and farm sale right next to the alpaca pasture. Other things to note If you have enough peace and quiet, there are also some attractions in the area. (Piber, Therme Nova, Stölze Oberglas Museum, Hundertwasser Church, Mining Museum, Burg Obervoitsberg) For sports activities, for example, the outdoor or indoor mini golf course as well as the 18-hole golf course Maria Lankowitz are ideal. Ski resorts such as Gaberl and Salzstiegel, Altes Almhaus are also not far away.
