Description
In the heart of Sengokuhara, enjoy a relaxing time with friends and family in a natural hot spring. LINKAGE STAY HAKONE SENGOKUHARA is a renovated, modernized traditional inn available for exclusive rental. The location is highly accessible, just a 2-minute walk from the "Sengoku" bus stop, with direct access to Odawara, Hakone-Yumoto, Gora, Lake Ashi, and the Gotemba Outlets. There's even a direct bus from Shinjuku. The space The spacious 244㎡ villa offers 4 bedrooms and futons, accommodating up to 20 guests. Perfect for family trips, friends' getaways, training camps, or family reunions. It has one open-air bath and two indoor baths, along with a commercial kitchen and four restrooms, so you’ll never have to wait for facilities, even in larger groups. The onsen offers the rich waters of Owakudani, some of the most mineral-rich hot springs in Hakone. Please review the usage guidelines carefully and enjoy your stay. Nearby, within walking distance, you’ll find Hakone’s only supermarket, a drugstore, and many popular restaurants (particularly renowned is Aihara Butcher’s Roast Beef). Attractions like the Glass Forest Museum and Lalique Museum are also walkable, and the scenic Susuki Pampas Grass Fields are just a 5-minute drive away. Our accommodation is a large rental villa remodeled from an old inn. While some parts may show signs of age, we prioritize cleanliness to ensure a comfortable stay. The floors are carpeted and tatami, with no shoes allowed indoors, making it safe for families with babies. Each bedroom and the living room have air conditioning for heating and cooling. Sengokuhara winters can drop below freezing, so we also provide two portable heaters for use in the living room, kitchen, or dressing room as needed. High-speed Wi-Fi is available throughout the facility. If you experience connectivity issues, locate the router and ONU by the entrance, unplug, wait one minute, and plug them back in. [Living Room] Equipped with an 8-seat dining set, sofa, coffee table, cushions, and foldable tables, the living room offers ample space for dining and relaxation. Enjoy movies on the large TV, projector, and screen. Four futon sets are also available. [1st Floor Western-Style Room] This room has one queen bed and two single beds. [2nd Floor Western-Style Rooms (3 rooms)] Each room is equipped with three single beds and one foldable single bed. [Bathroom] There are two bathrooms with dressing rooms. One has an indoor bath for three, while the other has a two-person indoor bath and a two-person open-air bath, both using natural onsen water. A baby bath is available for families with young children. For those concerned about the strong mineral content, we recommend diluting the bathwater for children. ***Onsen Usage Guidelines Filling the onsen takes several hours, as we empty and clean the baths between each guest. Depending on check-in/out schedules, the onsen may not be fully filled or heated upon arrival, or access to certain baths may be limited. If the bath is not fully filled or warm, please use tap water. If hot water is continuously used for more than 30 minutes, the water heater will shut off for safety reasons, and hot water will no longer be available. Please refrain from prolonged continuous use of hot water. The white particles on the bath surface are "yunohana," a natural mineral deposit and not dirt. The open-air bath may accumulate leaves or insects; please use the blower or net as needed. The onsen is very mineral-rich; avoid long soaks to prevent overheating. Those with sensitive skin should check the onsen's mineral composition (provided in Japanese in the photos) or refer to details on Owakudani Onsen. For showers and faucets, set the temperature to around 40°C. The maximum temperature is 60°C, which could cause burns if set too high. [Kitchen] The large commercial kitchen features two double sinks, ideal for multiple guests cooking simultaneously. Although it has a rugged design, it is highly functional for group use. Kitchen equipment includes a two-burner IH stove, additional IH burner and two pots, microwave, kettle with keep-warm function, large refrigerator, 4-compartment sink, knives, cutting boards, tableware, cups, cutlery, children’s tableware, kitchen tools, detergent, gas leak detector, sorting garbage bins, and outdoor garbage storage. [Hallway & Entrance] The hallway and entrance feature a washer, dryer, slippers, shoe rack, cleaning tools, ONU, router, and security camera (installed at the entrance for check-in verification per hotel business regulations). [Parking] Three parking spaces are available in front of the building. Please park within the white lines and avoid parking on the dirt areas. Guest access You have access to the entire building and the parking area. ※Please do not enter the neighboring property or backyard, as they are used by other residents. Other things to note Please read the onsen usage guidelines carefully in advance and be aware of the precautions. Depending on the number of guests, available rooms and bed arrangements may be limited. If you have a preference for a Western-style or Japanese-style room, please inform us in advance. Using too much electricity at once may cause a power outage (it usually restores automatically). Please be cautious when using high-power appliances simultaneously, such as air conditioners, microwaves, and heaters. Registration Details Hotels and Inns Business Act | 神奈川県小田原保健福祉事務所 | 第041138号
