Idyllically secluded alpine pasture

The Maiensäss (2 houses) is located at 1850 meters above Poschiavo. It is alone in the middle of the forest in a clearing. The Maiensäss is secluded and you can enjoy the tranquility of nature here. You can drive by car to the Maiensäss (the last 6.5 km are natural road) and there is parking (uncovered) at the Maiensäss. The Maiensäss is secluded and you can enjoy the tranquility of nature here. You can drive by car to the Maiensäss (the last 6.5 km are a natural road) and there is parking (uncovered) at the Maiensäss. In the house (stone house) there is a kitchenette and a fireplace. A cozy bench with a table and a sofa. In the back of the house is the shower, a toilet and a sink. For cooking, there is a gas stove and a wood-burning stove with an oven. Dishes and cutlery as well as cooking pots are provided. The hot water is produced with a boiler with wood firing (70 l). In the sleeping house (wooden house) there is a room with a double bed and a Swedish stove. Right next door is a small bedroom with a bunk bed. A toilet with a sink can be found directly by the two bedrooms. In the anteroom of the bedrooms there is a lounge. The Maiensäss is heated exclusively by wood burning. Wood can be found in the surrounding private forest. An axe and saw are available for use at your own risk. Firewood is provided. Electricity is generated with solar collectors (6 kWp) and stored in a battery system (15 kWh). E-car charging station (type 2, 0.65 CHF/kWh). In bad weather, a gasoline-powered power generator is available. 4G signal is only weakly present. The houses are not completely fenced and the outdoor area is partly video-monitored. For a cozy gathering there is a fireplace outside. In addition, a parasol and 2 sun loungers are available. Guest access Access to the house can be made via a key, which is in the key safe.
