The space The Aparthotel is based on a historic building constructed before 1900, which lay in ruins after the earthquake of 1962. The idea was to save it from decay and revive it. Stone from the old buildings was carefully collected, transported to the island of Brač, and restored to rebuild the house in its original size. In close proximity, another, larger building was constructed in traditional style with stone decor. The excess original stone was skillfully crafted and now serves as stylish wall cladding in all rooms.
