We are a unique countryside homestay in beautiful southern Cambodia, offering socially responsible holidays and meaningful travel. Located just 2.5 km from downtown Kampot and nestled amongst the rice fields at the base of the Domrei Mountains, we are conveniently tucked away off the road to Veal Pouch Waterfall, in a peaceful and secluded location. Baksaei ("bahk-sigh") means bird in Khmer, and you will hear plenty of birdsong around our stunning 3,000 square metre property. The space Set out over a large rice field, our Pool Villa sleeps up to five people (maximum 4 adults), offering two bedrooms, one bathroom, lounge area, and a fully equipped kitchen. Relax on the large balcony for sunset, or chill by the pool while enjoying the peace and beautiful setting. The Host lives on-site and can help with transport and activities. • Our guest villa is family-friendly, with an infant cot available. • Breakfast: stays <7 nights include light DIY breakfast options of toast, cereal, eggs or fruit and yoghurt. • Rates vary by season, number of guests, and length of stay. High Season: Nov-Apr; Green Season: May-Oct (-25%). The longer you stay, the less you pay! > Standard Base Rate (min. 2 nights); 3-4 nights -20%; 5-6 nights -25%; Weekly -30%; Monthly -50%. Discounts exclude Khmer New Year, Pchum Ben, and Christmas/New Year. Standard Base Rate is for 1-2 people - additional guests +5-10%. • Your villa contains a detailed Guest Information Book, with everything you need to know about your stay, including what to do and where to eat. However, guests remain liable for any damage or additional cleaning required. • House rules – smoking permitted outside only; no parties or events; no pets; quiet hours 10pm-7am. • Check-in 2pm-8pm; check-out 10am. You must confirm your ETA 24 hours ahead to allow access. Guest access We will welcome you at the gate.
