There are nice hiking areas around the house. Høyt og Lavt Vestfold is 10 minutes away by car. Kjærra Fossepark and Trollfoss are about 12 minutes away which is an idyllic place both summer and winter. There are also museums that are not too far away that are worth visiting such as Reidvin-tunet and Eidsfoss Jernverkmuseum.
