Cozy Hideaway in Frantato

Small stone house with a big garden in the village of Frantato. If you are looking for a peaceful ,quiet and relaxing place to stay , then this will be perfect for you. Enjoy Sea and Mountain views, read a good book in the hammock,practice yoga in the shade of the big trees,just relax.Frantato is right in the middle of Ikaria, so great to explore the island in all directions. You will need a car or a scooter to get around. The house is perfect for 2 people The space House with one bedroom with a double bed and a sleep couch for 2 in the kitchen. The house is a great size for 2 people , but can sleep 4. Perfect also for a small family with one child. For 4 people it may get a bit thight. The Greek government has introduced a climate tax of 8 euro per night for all Airbnb. This needs to be paid by the guest to the owner at the end of the stay. You are welcome to use of course any of the outdoor area. There is free parking available. The roads in General in Ikaria are not the best and there are many curves. Some guests have found the road to the house difficult as it is steep. But when you have done it once’s or twice, you will get comfortable with the roads. Just drive slow and be attentive. Other things to note It is a place for people that love peacefulness and serenity. You will be able to relax in the garden,enjoy the nature and the songs of the cicadas once the sun comes up. It is not a Party place. We respect our neighbours and the environment and we would like to ask the same of our guests.
