Coconut cottage is a perfect getaway surrounded by trees and bushland. It’s only a fifteen minute drive to Rainbow Beach and 5 minutes from Tin Can Bay and has a fabulous swim spa. Enter the long driveway with overhanging branches to find this lovely family, beach style home. Feel instantly at ease sitting on the deck with a coffee and good book. This house is set up with toys and games so you can relax and feed the king parrots that visit each morning. The space Welcome to this lovely quiet space. The perfect base to explore the rich surroundings. You can feed the parrots, kookaburra and the cockatoos. We love sitting overlooking the garden and watching all the amazing bird life. There’s a whistling kite about in the large tree in the bushland behind the house. You’ll hear him and the huge flock of black cockatoos will probably be your alarm clock most mornings! There are lots of walking tracks up behind the house. Good walking shoes and GPS needed. There are dingos and snakes about ..so be aware. Feel free to use the outside shower with the little buddha garden after beach visit. Guest access Guests can use the whole property. Other things to note Please note at times our spa may not be working during your stay due to maintenance or breakdown so if you are booking solely for the spa please ask prior.
