The Munz Room is on the second floor and has a king bed, console/desk with stools, mini fridge, 55" smart TV, and the room also has its own ductless heating and cooling unit. The full bathroom is detached and dedicated (not shared) and is conveniently located on the same floor, typically adjacent to or directly across from the bedroom. Although rehabbed in 2023, The Tellico Plains Inn was originally established in 1916 and is in the heart of Tellico Plains and the start of the Cherohala Skyway. AND, the Inn also has a 650 Sq Ft Event Room lit with 3 stylish chandeliers that can be rented out separately, great for weddings, bridal or baby showers, or any enthusiast group gathering! We hope you will enjoy the modern flare and updates to this 100+ year old Inn. We tried to salvage its character, keeping the original rustic wood floors, wainscoting, and dental trim. Be sure to take some time to relax on the front porch or in the lobby and view some historic photos of the Inn and Tellico Plains. Guest access Guests have access to the lobby featuring sitting areas, electric fireplace, a Keurig coffee station, microwave, and small ice machine, porches, and the entire grounds of the Inn. We offer guests a shared office space on the second floor on a first come first serve basis. The office space has two dedicated workspaces which include desks, chairs, printer/scanner/copier, etc. If you know you will want to use the office space during your stay, it is best to inform the host in advance of your stay. Other things to note Guests are provided with 4 bath towels, 4 hand towels, 4 wash cloths, 2 full rolls of toilet paper, hand soap, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, starter set of K-cups, cream and sweetener packets, and disposable coffee cups.
