Relax with the whole family or friends at this peaceful place. Surrounded by a beautiful garden large terrace & two balconnies. First floor: Large living / dining room and fully equiped kitchen & toilet wash room. Second floor: Toilet and large Bathroom. 3 double bedrooms, two of which also have single day beds and access to balcony, ideal for familes. The third bedroom is slightly smaller with the double bed that can convert to a day Sofa if needed. All bedrooms have plenty of storage space. Basement: an internal staircase gives access between the first floor and basement (ground floor) the entrance area has storage for shoes and coats as well as access to the boiler room and electrical fuse box. This is also the access to the ground floor apartment I use during your stay, this door will be locked. The washing machine is in my private area so If you have need of using the washing machine contact me and we can organise this. I have a border collie (Jib) who shares this space with me. She is 11, very calm and she will not disturb you during your visit. Guest access You have access to the first and second floor of the chalet. The basement is where I move to when I have guests. You have access to the complete garden (1000m2) which has 3 different terrace areas, so you can move to find sun or shade as it suits you. Each terrace is equipped with tables and chairs, the large terrace has a large table and chairs that seats 10. Also two wood burners / BBQ’s that can be used. You also have access to my field and wooded area adjacent to the garden (3000m2) search for mushrooms and relax under the shade of the trees. There is also a small river 500m below the chalet which is great to cool off in summer. Other things to note Winter activities and skiing: The chalet is a 5 min drive from Village Saint Pierre de Chartreuse. The chalet is not at high altitude it is at 900m and the ski slopes that are the closest are 5 - 10 min drive, these slopes are mainly for children or beginners at La Stass at Saint Pierre or at Les Egaux at St Hugues. There are however great areas for ski de rando where you natural areas that are not pisted (pas damé). In recent years the snow is not as predictable as in the past, we can have big snow fall or sometimes very little?
