Other things to note The village of Roujan is an ancient fortified village with remnants of ramparts. The town centre is easily reached on foot. Parking in the town is free. 12 minutes away is the pedestrianised town of PEZENAS, the home of MOLIERE, with its shops that smell of the perfumes of Provence. On 1 May, in summer, the whole region comes to PEZENAS for the antiques fair. ROUJAN, a must-see rosé wine village located at the centre of the 5 vineyard routes. The region is magnificent: 50 minutes from Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert, the most beautiful village in France, 6 minutes from the Château de Margon and its estate, You can have lunch at the Château Saint Pierre in an extraordinary setting 10 minutes away, Embark on the Canal du Midi, Take one of the 48 walks or cycle rides, including the Gorges d'Heric in the Garrou massif, 40 minutes away. The Château-Abbaye de Cassan 3 km away: A former Royal Priory dating from the 12th century. In the 12th and 13th centuries, Cassan's spiritual influence was such that it attracted numerous donations. The estate is open to visitors.
