The space This 95 m² single-level retreat occupies the ground floor of a beautifully renovated traditional Jura farmhouse, on the edge of the forest. The renovation has preserved many of the original stone walls and period features, combining them with wood and contemporary design to create a warm and authentic atmosphere. As soon as you enter, a beautiful original stone arch gives the property its unique character. The accommodation comfortably sleeps 6 guests and features 3 bedrooms. The living spaces are generous, with a fully equipped 18 m² kitchen and a cosy 25 m² lounge. Outside, two private terraces offer different spaces to relax and enjoy the surrounding nature, between meadow and forest. After a day of skiing, hiking or exploring the Haut-Jura, unwind in our wellness area with panoramic sauna and Nordic bath, available by reservation in private time slots. In winter, the downhill and cross-country ski areas of Les Rousses are just a few minutes away. In the warmer months, hiking and mountain-biking trails can be accessed directly from the farmhouse. Travelling with a baby? Baby equipment is available free of charge upon request, including a travel cot, high chair, baby bath and potty. Guest access The farmhouse is located at the end of a 600-metre road, on the edge of the forest, in a particularly peaceful and unspoilt setting with no passing traffic. Yet the centre of Prémanon is only 800 metres away on foot, with shops, restaurants and the ice rink nearby. In winter, you are right in the heart of the Les Rousses ski area: downhill ski slopes are around 5 minutes away by car, cross-country ski trails are accessible from the village, and a ski bus provides access to the different ski areas. For hiking, mountain biking, forest walks or snowshoeing, there is no need to take the car: many trails can be accessed directly from the farmhouse. A shared secure storage room is also available for skis, bikes and outdoor equipment, with a ski-waxing bench. Lakes, waterfalls and scenic viewpoints throughout the Haut-Jura Regional Natural Park are also just a few minutes away. Enjoy the peace of the forest, while staying close to the village and mountain activities. Other things to note This beautifully renovated 1832 Jura farmhouse is home to four fully independent holiday rentals. Each accommodation has its own private entrance and terrace, ensuring privacy for every guest. Access to the wellness area is included in your stay. Featuring a panoramic sauna and Nordic bath, it is reserved for guests staying in the four holiday rentals. To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone, access is by reservation, with private time slots. For your comfort, bed linen and towels are provided, beds are made before your arrival and end-of-stay cleaning is included. The property also has its own washing machine and Wi-Fi.
