Large 3 bedroom Charente Country Cottage nr Ruffec

In the countryside yet close to all amenities The space This beautiful old home has been renovated to a very modern standard set in a very quiet hamlet offering a restful atmosphere in the garden. Just step out onto our road and your already on the start of numerous country walks through many sunflower fields. Although set in the country side we are just 10 minutes drive to the centre of Ruffec which offers Supermarkets, Restaurants, Cafes and shops. There is a market twice a week. There is also a swimming pool, theater and cinema. The entrance room has a old world look with a stone wall, beamed ceiling, wood burner and is also where the office desk is situated. The lounge is quite large but still keeps its old world cottage charm complete with large beamed ceiling, Charente style fire place and feature stone wall. There is a television which receives Both French and UK T.V. and UK radio. The large kitchen, breakfast room and utility room is equipped with large fridge, dishwasher, clothes washer and large freezer along with the usual microwave, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and air fryer. Also a radio. There are two good sized bedrooms. One bedroom has a king size bed, walk in robe and en-suite toilet and wash basin. The second bedroom has a walk in robe and two single beds. The main bathroom is fully tiled, modern with toilet, wash basin and walk in shower. Outside there is a covered pergola for shade with table and chairs and attached patio. There is also a large hanger in the garden which stays cool even on a hot day with a gas BBQ and table and chairs and sun loungers. There is ample on site parking which is shared with the owner. Pets are welcome however, the main garden gate are no longer closable! Guest access Apart from the store room guests have access to the whole cottage. Other things to note Les Jarris is a very quite Hamlet on it's own road offering a very peaceful break. Ruffec (10 minutes drive away) has restaurants, canoeing, a cinema, a theatre, swimming pool and of-course supermarkets. Further afield are various swimming lakes all with amenities, Historic places and Nautilus - a large swimming pool with wave pool other water activities. The historic cities of Poitiers and Angouleme are just 40 minutes away and Cognac is about 1 hour away all great for shopping.
