The space Experience Tranquility and Tradition at Mekong Pottery Homestay **The Bedroom** Our charming homestay embraces the beauty of brick and terra cotta, showcasing locally sourced decorative materials from the renowned pottery factories in the region. Nestled at the start of Vinh Long’s historic Red Kingdom, home to over 1,000 pottery kilns that have been active for over a century, our place offers a unique glimpse into local craftsmanship. Planning to explore this captivating kingdom? No worries! We provide an online guidebook with pre-planned routes and suggested attractions. You can explore on our FREE BICYCLES or RENTAL AUTOMATIC SCOOTERS, all well-maintained to ensure you have an amazing journey. We have only three rooms, and this listing features 2 plush king beds, a recycled workspace branded PlasticPeople, reading lamps, flip-flops, bathrobes, and plenty of indoor plants to enhance air quality, reduce stress, and boost creativity. **The Bathroom** Our open-concept bathroom invites you to relax and rejuvenate. Imagine a space filled with tropical plants, partially covered with wooden panels to let in natural light and keep the space ventilated. Enjoy two shower heads (one powered by solar energy and the other by electricity) ensuring you have hot and cold water in any weather. We provide anti-slip shower floors, clean towels, a small round mirror in the bathroom, a full-body mirror in the bedroom, eco-friendly wheat-straw toothbrushes, branded toothpaste, mosquito cream, earplugs, a hairdryer, and a laundry bag for our efficient laundry service. **The Patio and Garden** Step out to a sun-kissed garden from the patio, where you’ll find books in various languages (English, French, German), chess, and board games in a cozy library corner. Outdoor seating invites you to relax with loved ones, finish your book, or lounge in a hammock. There’s even a designated smoking area with an ashtray. My mom has decorated the garden with quirky, creative items, perfect for a picture-worthy stroll. She loves DIY projects, so be prepared to be amazed! **Tours, Day Trips, Boat Rides, and Local Experiences** On the desk by your bed, you’ll find a QR code that opens our website with suggested attractions, cycling routes, food spots, cafes, bars, and curated trips for our guests. Having worked in tourism since 2015, I collaborate with the local community to bring you the best authentic experiences in the Mekong Delta. Join a cruise tour on the Mekong River, hop on a rowing boat on a serene river, watch a pottery craftsman with 20 years of experience, visit a family weaving mats and baskets from dried water hyacinth, taste freshly-made coconut candy, and savor hand-picked bananas that are far superior to store-bought ones. These are just a few highlights. Take your time to explore our designed trips. I'm here to help with anything you need, even planning your journey to other parts of Vietnam. **Home-Cooked Meals** Vietnam offers an array of mouthwatering dishes, but if you crave something different, surprise your taste buds with an authentic home-cooked meal.
