In the countryside, close to Chinon, this old house with pool is the ideal place to have a pleasant stay with friends and family. It is equipped with an independent kitchen, dining room, living room overlooking the terrace and pool, 5 bedrooms, 5 bathrooms with toilets including an independent one. Embellished with a large garden where you'll find relaxing spots, it's ideally located for hiking, biking, or horseback riding departures. The space SPECIAL WEEKEND: if you book two nights (Friday and Saturday) you can arrive on Friday evening (5 p.m.) and stay until Sunday evening. SPECIAL DECEMBER AND YEAR-END HOLIDAYS: the house as well as the exteriors are decorated and illuminated to ensure you have a beautiful holiday season. Also come and enjoy the Loire Valley castles, which have special Christmas decorations from November 29, 2025 to January 4, 2026 (Chinon, Azay-le-Rideau, Villandry, Chenonceau, Amboise and Loches). Site: Christmas in the land of castles AUTUMN/WINTER: wood is provided free of charge for the fireplace stove. 4 bedrooms, each with bathroom and toilet, have 1 double bed of 160 by 200 which can be separated into 2 single beds of 80 by 200. 1 bedroom with bathroom, toilet and large mezzanine has 4 single beds of 90 by 190 that can be put in double bed of 180 by 190. (Access to the mezzanine is via a slightly steep staircase and is not necessarily suitable for people with limited mobility or young children) One of the rooms is independent of the house and its access is from the outside. The configuration of the beds (double or single) must be requested at the time of booking. Linens (sheets and duvet covers, towels, kitchen towels) are provided with the rental. (Beds are made upon arrival). End-of-stay cleaning fees are included in the price. Bath towels for the pool are also provided with the rental. For babies, the cottage has two cots, a booster seat, a high chair, a toilet reducer and a potty. Guest access Vehicle parking is inside the courtyard which is fully fenced The house has a large garden, a terrace with pool and a courtyard where you have free access. However, for safety reasons, the cave part is not accessible. Other things to note The pool entirely dedicated to the gite is open from early May to late October depending on weather conditions and is heated from mid-May to mid-September. It is secured with an alarm (and possibility to add a removable barrier) and is accessible without time restrictions. On the other hand, to ensure the maintenance and control of the water quality, a person will pass by every day. The schedule will be based on your convenience. For bookings during the holiday season, you will have a decorated Christmas tree in the living room. Being close to a small stable that organizes "pony courses" during the school holidays, please let me know if you want to book places for your children. Living on site and having a cat, dog and horses, no pets are allowed.
