At Lyngseidet, there is a alpine slope, and groomed cross-country and light trails can be found at Jægrevatnet. There are also ski and snowshoe rentals, and kayak rental during summer. The nature in the area is idyllic with forested moors, beautiful pine heaths, gushing rivers and steep peaks. Rich wildlife. Freshwater fishing is possible in the lake Jægervatnet. Please check fishing license. Hiking destinations in the immediate area such as Støa, Nesset and Skavåsen and a little further away Blåisvatnet, Aspevatnet and Jægervatnet.
