The Dome House is an entire house in the heart of the lighthouse neighborhood, it is in a lovely quite traditional bedouin neighborhood. the dome house is in the middle of the lighthouse neighborhood it's a very artistic cozy house build with love:) The space When I decided to build this house,I wanted to collect every magical energy that i felt from all around sinai in my house,most of the details in the house is collected from sinai;the texture of the house walls is from sea sand(tafla),the outdoor flooring are rocks&tree slaps:rocks are all collected piece piece from (wadi genai)&the tree slaps is cut from a huge tree in nuibaa,even the indoor flooring(concrete flooring) is made from just cement to reduce the processing procedures. And most of the furniture was cut from a huge saial tree.The concept of this house is me collecting all sinai’s energy and putting it in a form that anyone can experience it while in my house using everything I mentioned above,the experience is feeling the flow of energy from every aspect of the house in the form of flowing energy. Obviously the house isn’t built in a traditional way by building the big dome in the middle of the house,also I built the house in a very untraditional way that the sun shines through the whole house.the philosophy of the dome is that it drops the whole temperature of the dome room by 3 degrees,also it isolates the sound completely and flows the sound all around the room in a way you never experienced it before[I didn’t want to make a regular traditional concrete ceiling for the perks of the dome ceiling ].On the other hand the location of the house is 3 mins from literally anything in dahab(light house,assala souq&lagoona beach).
