Our 2-bedroom home is the perfect escape for those seeking a peaceful and relaxing stay near Kochi. It features two comfortable bedrooms, minimalistic interiors that ensure a restful night's sleep, rooms filled with natural light—ensuring a bright and airy ambiance. Convenience meets serenity in our home. Situated just 25 minutes from Kochi Airport and an hour from Fort Kochi and Ernakulam city, our home offers a peaceful stay away from the bustle. Delicious home-cooked food is a request away. The space Yellow Postbox is an independent villa enclosed in a compound. The locality surrounding the property is very peaceful and serene. Kerala's villages are clean, covered in green, and have plenty of character. The same applies to us. We have 2 bedrooms, each with a comfortable queen bed, a couple of pillows, and some cushions. The home can accommodate up to 4 people comfortably. Each room also comes with a powerful AC unit to keep you cool in those summer afternoons. There is also a full-size standing vertical mirror in each room. The rooms are decorated and lit tastefully to feel cozy and at home. Each bedroom has its own full bathroom, each with an independent water heater, a large mirror to admire yourself in, and all the other necessities. The home also has a large living space which has largely two parts. On one side, we have an L shaped seating area with a table where you could spend your mornings reading, eating, or chatting with one another. The entire living room is well-lit and is sun-kissed throughout the day. We also have a reading/working corner which is a low-seating area with comfortable cushions and a low table. There’s a TV, lots of books, and artwork thrown around the home. We also provide free Wifi. Our home has been intentionally decorated with lots of local handcrafted artifacts that are both vintage and new. We have thrown in a splash of boho decor to add some color. The home comes with a full kitchen equipped with a refrigerator, a microwave, an induction cook top, utensils, vessels, and serving cutlery. We also stock the kitchen with some basic groceries and easy-to-make food to get you started. There's a cute little patio right outside the main door where you may enjoy the setting sun, or go up to the terrace for some pretty village views, and the often dramatic skies. Guest access Our entire home would be accessible to you during your stay. Our home is an independent villa that is within a compound with a small car parking. You would have access to the living room, our working, and reading corner with a view of the TV, the patio, the terrace, two bedrooms, each with a queen bed and en suite bathroom, and a full kitchen. You would not be sharing this home with anyone else. Us, hosts, live in a different property just a few 100 meters away, and are always available for any assistance. Other things to note You would be required to check in by providing a photo of your ID and of each guest staying with you. You may check in using an online form given to you on your day of arrival, or by emailing the ID to us. Delicious home-cooked food is available on request. We live 5 minutes away, and your food would come to you at the Airbnb freshly-made. More details regarding the menu and cost for breakfast, lunch, and dinner would be shared closer to your arrival. If you choose to request food from us, we would need to be informed a few hours in advance.
