Our wheelchair-friendly new building of 500m² is suitable for up to 18 people, only family In this beautiful and hilly landscape with its picturesque vistas, forests and nature reserves, you can walk & cycle to your heart's content. The recreation domain De Gavers is within walking distance and the most beautiful animal park in Europe, Pairi Daiza 30 minutes from the villa! We are happy to pamper you with a heated outdoor swimming pool and 2 jacuzzi with light therapy! The space The accommodation Our home is wheelchair friendly, the ground floor is completely step-free both indoors and outdoors. There are several outdoor terraces with seating areas, sun loungers & lounges, surrounded by a lovely large south-facing garden with heated outdoor swimming pool, an outdoor shower and open views of the fields & the Raspaillebos. In the garden there are 2 hammocks, a large built-in trampoline and play tower. There is something for everyone! There is sufficient parking and 2 non-covered bicycle sheds (not covered due to no permit in urban planning). Our villa is a residential construction and is designed with eye for detail and decoration in all its simplicity. Due to the white facade, the turquoise tones, the open view with beautiful terrace and outdoor swimming pool, the large olive tree,... you immediately get a holiday feeling there! Comfort is more than sufficient! There are 7 toilets, 2 duo jacuzzis with light therapy, 2 showers and 2 duo lounges. There is underfloor heating, ventilation systems for a healthy indoor air, internet throughout with high speed wifi connection. Each room has one or two large smart flat screen TVs so you can enjoy beautiful images & streaming. Due to possible allergies, no pets are allowed. It is also forbidden to smoke in the house. Of course, you can smoke on the various terraces, also on the two private terraces with garden of the guest rooms. Our home meets the latest and strictest fire safety standards. For example, there are in our house: several emergency exits, fire doors, 20 smoke detectors and optical alarms, 4 push buttons, 3 sirens and a smoke velux all connected to a fire station directly connected to the fire department. All this with as small organic print as possible such as 20,000L rainwater to which our taps in the garden, 7 toilets and 2 washing machines are connected. Inside Through a large glass pivot door you enter the entrance hall, which leads to a cozy open living space overlooking the terrace, garden and swimming pool. A cozy sitting area with large smart flat screen TV for beautiful images and music. At the large wooden dining table you can dine with more than 14 people. At the large cooking island there are 4 more seats. Also from the open kitchen you have a beautiful view over the large garden with terrace, the outdoor swimming pool, the forest and the fields. A very modern and spacious kitchen equipped with all the necessary comfort and luxury. Central is the large cooking island to socialize with the family or the friends in the living space, even while cooking. You can book up to 14 people with 5 bedrooms or up to 18 people with 6 bedrooms. The Master Bedroom of no less than 52m² has a beautiful open view over the fields and the Raspaillebos! Each room has a box spring (180x200cm) with made-up beds. The family rooms each have a box spring and a bunk bed. 6 very spacious ensuite bathrooms each with 2 washbasins, bath linen, a toilet. 2 bathrooms with duo Jacuzzis & light therapy, 1 with walk-in shower, 2 with duo bed bath and 1 with double walk-in shower. Outdoor Time for relaxation! Our outdoor heated pool is 8m x 4m and 1.50m deep. The sun shines on the pool from morning to evening, so you can enjoy all day long, a real holiday feeling! After a busy visit day, a brisk walk or a long bike ride, it's ideal to take a refreshing dip! But first take a shower! Next to the pool there is an outdoor solar shower with both cold and hot water as the sun is shining. Depending on the weather, the pool is open from the beginning/mid-May to October. Around the pool there are sun loungers, beach chairs and umbrellas to unwind completely... While the parents enjoy the poolside, the children can play on the play tower with playhouse, slide & 2 swings and a built-in trampoline of 4m40. Within walking distance of the Recreation Domain De Gavers where one can enjoy the beach and swim in the pond, "WoWpark" the largest inflatable water park in Belgium, pedalo, kayak, surf bike, Canadian canoe, rowing boat, surfing, the tropical indoor swimming pool with sauna, mini golf, gocarts, renting bicycles, laser shoot, wall climbing and a terrace overlooking the lake,... Ideally located just 5 minutes from the historic city center, the internationally known Wall from the Tour of Flanders and in the middle of typical Flemish villages where you can dine.
