Silent Valley Bed and Breakfast

Our charming, intimate resort offers a chance to unwind in our serene garden with dining terrace, bamboo reading area, a wooden pool with terrace, complemented by a lavish daily breakfast crafted from high-end ingredients. Our table d'hôtes invites you to indulge in exquisite Burgundian dinners. We rent out 2 separate rooms (with their own exclusive bathroom and toilet) and our guests can share all amenities and the large garden. By request we can accomodate larger groups (up to 10 people). The space The Résidence is a two-story cottage. Upstairs there are 2 double bedrooms with en-suite bathroom facilities, rented separately. Room number 3 (20m2) has one king-size bed (1.80x2.00). In our large garden (8.000m2) you'll find hammocks, two terraces, a swimming pool and firepit. The cottage is situated at the far end of a small hameau, which is a small collection of farmhouses in the French countryside. As the cottage is the last building, the road ends there and turns into a cobblestone path that leads all the way up into the forest, where you can walk for hours without seeing anyone. As there is a pond in the garden, our Résidence is not suitable for (small) children. Guest access Guests have the first floor of the cottage all to themselves; there you'll find the bedrooms. Downstairs at the entrance there's plenty of room to put away your coats and boots, an extra toilet and washing facilities when needed. The dining room, with attached piano room, is also downstairs. In our 8.000m2 garden you'll find a bamboo terrace for lounging and reading, a large dining terrace and outside kitchen. In the far corner of the garden our wooden swimming pool sits high on the hill and overlooks our beautiful valley. There are three hammocks and a cosy firepit. During your stay You will be welcomed , hosted and catered by the owners of the Résidence, who have their own private rooms in a separate wing of the cottage. We love our two dogs and six cats, they walk around the garden and in our living but are not allowed in the guest's quarters. Other things to note We do not allow smoking inside the cottage. You can bring pets, but we like to know in advance.
