Lodge tent in the wilderness

Enjoy the sounds of nature when you stay in this unique place. This atypical accommodation is located in the heart of our permaculture farm in the Cévennes. Fall asleep listening to the sounds of the forest and wake up to the sound of birds. We are an eco-place, we promote zero waste. We provide biodegradable hygiene products. We respect biodiversity in all its forms. The space Please note: the tent is not heated and we have no heating available! Two duvets (5 degrees) are provided. Take responsibility by checking the weather before coming. The tent is fully equipped with mosquito nets. 4 side windows and a large central window (equipped with mosquito nets) allow air to enter. The tent is equipped with a double bed and a heater that can be used as an extra bed. All-cotton bed linens are provided. Towels are provided. A mini kitchenette has been fitted inside. It has a 46L mini fridge, kettle, coffee machine and induction hob. Dishes and cooking utensils are provided. Many foodstuffs are available at no cost: oil, vinegar, salt, pasta, rice, etc., and for breakfast, bread, biscuits, jam, honey, butter, spread, milk, coffee, tea, etc. You are free to use them and you give what you can ☺️ When it is not raining we will ask you to use the stove outside. I can also offer meals in the evening (discuss it when you arrive☺️). Dishes are done in the shared bathroom. Two deckchairs are set up in front of the tent as well as a hammock and a garden table is just behind. Outdoor lighting is solar. In the tent there is electricity. The bathroom is about twenty meters away from the accommodation. It has a dry toilet and shower. The water heater is small capacity (50 L). Bathroom is shared with other guests (another cottage available). We are an ECO-SITE in permaculture. We respect nature and biodiversity in all its forms. There are insects, birds, batrachians, and other mammals that live peacefully on the premises. We are in the zero waste movement and we reuse whenever possible. We have sheep that bleat, chickens and a rooster that sings, cats, a dog. In summer you can enjoy our very large vegetable garden and fresh eggs from the hens. Book if: - You share our values or are curious to discover them, - You want to immerse yourself in nature and enjoy a real wellness stay, - You want to recharge your batteries, discover permaculture, naturopathy... Don't book if: - You like new materials and well-mowed grass, - The song of birds, roosters, frogs, foxes, sheep or sometimes dogs disturbs you, - The slightest insect scares you, - You haven't found anything else. In this case, I'm sure you'll find a place that better fits your expectations and have a better stay. Other things to note Dog, cats, chickens and sheep live with us on the farm. We will not be able to accept pets because our dog, guardian and rather dominant, would not let them in. he is very friendly with humans and will undoubtedly come to greet you as soon as you arrive. On June 1st and 2nd our neighbor is hosting a theater and music festival. If you book on these dates you can obviously go. We simply won't be able to guarantee a night as quiet as usual!
