House on the Rock

The House is located on the lake in the woods, 12 km from the main road #6. Location is very peaceful and scenic. It is integrated into the rocky landscape with a panoramic view over the lake through pines. There is also the second small house nearby- a wood-heated shore sauna with 2 beds, kitchenette and stairs to the lake. Location: Helsinki 300km, Imatra 42km, Savonlinna 96km The space Built in 2012, 150 sq meters, The 1st floor: 2 bedrooms, kitchen, toilet, sauna with jacuzzi bathtube, laundry room The 2nd floor with its own entry: one bedroom, bathroom with shower, living room with a kitchen, 2 balconies with a dining table. Due to its location on the rock and strong ventilation system there is a comfortable temperature in the house (especially on the ground floor) even if it is hot outside. There is the 2nd house (a shore sauna) nearby with 2 beds and a kitchenette. Tap water is drinkable, from the well. Guest access -A traditional wood heated shore sauna with 2 beds and kitchenette. - a row boat - barbeque facilities Bed linen, towels, dish- towels are provided as well as firewood. Other things to note The location is far away inside the woods, very peaceful and quiet. The nearest train station and markets are in Simpele, in 21km. There is one neighbour's house nearby. There are almost no mosquitos around the house.
