Longview is a 4 bedroom, 3 bathroom house with an outdoor spa and an incredible view from Elluk Plateau over the rainforest below, Ifira Island and Mele Bay. Come home to the tranquil setting and outlook following the hustle of nearby Port Vila, watch the sunset while cooling off in the spa. The local markets are a great source of local produce to cook your own meals in the fully equipped kitchen. Local beaches, restaurants, bars, galleries and resorts are a short drive south towards Pango. The space Longview is a spacious, comfortable and serene setting to use as a base for your Pacific island holiday. The house features two distinct wings, perfect for multiple families or couples seeking their own space. The light-filled living room leading to the deck provides an impressive view across the main bay of Port Vila. The ever-changing hues of blue from the bay, local rainforest and sea breeze create the ideal holiday sanctuary. The deck features a 10 person spa perfectly situated to cool off, enjoy the view and sunset. All rooms are fitted with ceiling fans and louvred windows, some rooms have air conditioners - however we find these are rarely used due to the cross-breeze. Each bedroom and bathroom features high quality 100% cotton bedding and towels. Beach towels are provided for spa use and, of course, trips to the beach. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, stove top, fridge/freezer, microwave, kettle, toaster and generous settings for 10+; as well as a six burner BBQ and cooking area outside. For those needing to stay connected, there is a dedicated workspace and wifi is provided. The laundry has a washing machine and a tub, and there's a clothesline to the side of the house. The lush gardens feature Vanuatu flowers, new fruit trees and palms, and the property is gated with secure parking for up to 3 vehicles. The location is approximately 30 minutes by car from the airport, 10 minutes from Port Vila, 10 minutes to local beaches, restaurants and resorts. Hiring your own car is ideal however there are also bus and taxi services should you prefer. Guest access As a guest at Longview you can enjoy the privacy of having the house as your home away from home for the duration of your stay. Your hosts are a phone call and short drive away should any issues arise. Other things to note Longview is ideal for families and small groups.
