The space Whether you want a base to explore the magnificent southern region or a place to play and escape to immerse yourself in nature, this single-level, three-bedroom property is the perfect home away from home. Situated just off Okines road, 5 mins from the Dodges Ferry township, it has views across to Seven Mile Beach and a beautiful tree scape with native wildlife to explore right outside the back door. The house is light and airy, attracting all day sun with minimal furnishings and generous living spaces. The open-plan kitchen/dining room with wonderful big windows immerses you in the beautiful garden. If you love to cook, the kitchen comes well-equipped including a fridge, freezer, gas cook top oven, microwave, coffee machine, kettle, toaster, dishwasher and other cooking essentials like pots, pans, and utensils. Eat around the kitchen island or at the timber dining table, then kick back in the separate living room on one of the comfy lounges to watch TV with most streaming channels provided, or snuggle up and watch TV in bed or by the fire with a good read from a selection of books available. There are 2 air conditioners & heaters to provide warmth or cooling. Three well-appointed bedrooms accommodate six guests. The master offers a Queen bed with ensuite, the second and third bedrooms have two single beds that can be zipped together to quickly convert to very comfy king beds, as well as essentials for the little ones with 2 porta cots and a portable high chair, plus plenty of toys and books to keep them occupied. The main bathroom features a shower and a bathtub, as well as all the basics including soap, shampoo and conditioner, and hairdryer. Work from home at the desk in the living area with wi-fi provided. Guest access The long driveway is accessed off the cul de sac and takes you directly to the house. At night it can be dark. there are sensor lights near the house During your stay, you and your group will have the fenced area of the entire home to yourself with total privacy. The acreage surrounding the house is shared with a few animals who are quietly attended to each day. Please make yourself at home! Other things to note The surrounding property is home to rescue animals & foster cats in the cattery, chooks and roosters (they can be noisy near the house in their enclosure, bring ear plugs) and we ask that you respect these areas. This means you may look, but please do not enter any paddocks or animal enclosures, and do not feed the animals. Red the Rooster does crow mainly first thing in the morning (ear plugs recommended for light sleepers). The animals' areas will be locked, for your safety and theirs. Do not put your hands through the fences or try to make contact as you or your children could be harmed, and ensure children are supervised at all times when viewing the animals. Pool Safety is imperative. Please make sure the pool gate is closed and latched at all times and that all children are supervised continuously and not left alone near the pool area. Please ensure the pool and spa cover is replaced and secured firmly when you are done and turn off the heating to low at night (see house rules for instructions).
