Our house is just a few minutes walk to the center of the village, completely fenced and surrounded by nature, obtaining a wonderful view over the valley and the mountain ranges.   As soon as you enter the garden, you feel a comforting calm, which contrasts with the country's large and bustling cities, making it a source of rest and relaxation. This place once belonged to the important Colombian artist Gonzalo Ariza. The space who spent much of his life in this place, which was an important source of inspiration. Many of his works were created in this place, and here he was in charge of portraying the unique nature found there. Small stone paths invite you to follow in the artist's footsteps, paths that lead to a viewpoint that was very special and intimate for the Artist, where a stone sculpture bears witness to the time. The house was designed to be a place of rest, without having to stray too far from the big capital. With simple architecture, very well integrated and subordinated to nature, the large entrance hall is equipped with large glass windows that give a view of the house's garden, a garden that contains more than 200 species of Colombian flora.  The ancient trees have been preserved and there are many species of birds and butterflies that flutter around the place and even a family of neques passes through the place in search of food. The upper rooms are reached via a staircase that is illuminated by a glass canopy in the roof structure that naturally illuminates the house. Upstairs are 3 bedrooms, each with access to the large terrace and two bathrooms. The view from the terrace at any time of day is fantastic, making the terrace somewhat the heart of the house. It's the ideal place to have breakfast in the mornings and at night it's a romantic space ideal for enjoying a starry sky. The house is dedicated to rest and invites you to leave some day-to-day habits in order to achieve a greater perception of this special and unique place. That doesn't mean you can't listen to good music and share it with friends or family. There is a music system with “Sonos” speakers and since the place is so spacious it allows an acoustic throughout the house that is truly amazing.
