Rancho Romana is a nature lovers paradise. The recently built treehouses are situated among mountains overlooking subtropical forests and landscape, at eye level with birds and lush vegetation. The rancho is located inside the Nature Park El Limon Samana and a short hike from the famous El Limon Waterfalls. It is a peaceful place with amazing views of mountains and the distant ocean, lush vegetation, and a star gazer’s dream. The space Your treehouse includes a luxurious king size bed with a mosquito net made exclusively for the bed. Each treehouse includes a full bathroom (shower with hot water) separated from the bedroom with a built-in separation. You will have a table and two chairs, perfect for relaxing, reading, sketching, or bird watching. These are true treehouses, open to the beauty of nature, but with amazing beds and mosquito nets so you can sleep peacefully. Imagine going to bed and waking up to nature sounds (no city noises here) a refreshing breeze, the smell of trees and flowers. Guest access We welcome you to explore our typical Dominican ranch that includes cacao , coffee trees, tropical fruits and flowers. You will have full access to the communal kitchen. Feel free to bring and store food to prepare or pick up something to eat at El Limon town, 10 minutes drive. A local restaurant is located a short walk away. Wi-Fi- We are surrounded by mountains, making Wi-Fi access limited but it is available. The treehouse is a true treehouse, in the trees and nature. This means there is no air conditioning but, because of the elevation, there is a constant breeze. The safety and comfort of our guests is very important to us. Because of the open structures and platforms, only mature children allowed and no horseplay. Other things to note Safe parking spot is 5 minutes walk from Rancho Romana. This is in a nature park so you won’t be allowed to drive to all the way to our door. If you have heavy luggage, please let us know early. We will arrange to have a helper.
If you travel by bus, please let us know your arrival time. The best option is to go to El Limon, but Samana/Las Terrenas are also good. We will help make arrangements to have a driver pick you up.
