After 1 year of renovation, we are opening the doors of this 18th century mansion on the old port of La Ciotat, hosting CASA ABEILLE 4 exceptional accommodations on 2 floors, open for booking since February 2024. You come as a group or family Total capacity 12 people The space LA TERRASSE is an apartment that can accommodate up to 4 people. The total area is 106 m2 with a 25 m2 roof terrace only accessible to guests who have booked this accommodation with a view of the old port, the shipyard and the 3 secs with the Ciotaden Museum (former Town Hall) as a neighbor, not overlooked. This single-story and cross-cutting accommodation located on the top floor includes two double bedrooms including one with sea view, a bathroom, a fully equipped kitchen, a usable fireplace, a dining area, a 25 m2 living room with sea view with an additional 12 m2 alcove which corresponds to a sleeping area (i.e. one of the two bedrooms) illustrated with sublime period cement tiles. Air conditioning in the living room on the south side and fan provided in the bedroom on the east side Access to the top floor is private and only for guests who have booked this accommodation with private access to the roof terrace. A locked gate with turmeric curtains limits access to the floor as well as a boat rope installed at the beginning of the floor, this beautiful row of solar curtains closes the space in a very "southern" format. The bedroom/living room on the sea side can be locked in addition if desired. A fully equipped kitchen designed by a real professional cook. We provide tea capsules and basic items for the first night upon arrival. Casa Abeille is managed by Camille & Jeanne, the eldest and youngest sisters, both graduates of the Lausanne Hotel School, one at the head of the operation, the second as financial director. Why CASA ABEILLE? Because the Genoese invested in La Ciotat a few centuries ago, our family from LA SPEZIA participated in the opening of the La Ciotat shipyard, bees adorn the terracotta tiles of our roof, Mr. Adolphe Abeille was a Ciotat local and Captain of the 7th hunter regiment. Member of the Paris Society of Anthropology, and the Association for the Encouragement of Greek Studies in France. We have introduced elements related to our friends the bees throughout the CASA, it's up to you to find them!
