This exclusive vacation home for 4-6 people is part of HOEVE DEN AKKER, a beautiful estate with park garden and fantastic views in the middle of rural Moerkerke, Damme. The vacation home is very spacious and has 2 master bedrooms with en suite bathrooms. The tastefully decorated living room with adjoining kitchen is finished in a high-end style. Air conditioning everywhere. There are two terraces overlooking the ALPACAS and chickens! Forget your worries during your stay. OPEN SINCE MAY 2024! The space OUTSIDE You can drive up to the domain of Hoeve den Akker via a private driveway. There is free parking with the possibility to park several cars up to the entrance. The estate with a great garden is 1.5 hectares in size and completely fenced in a rural style. There are different types of plants, hedges, shrubs and trees. There are no immediate neighbors. The vacation home was built and finished in May 2024 and is therefore brand new. The house is surrounded by fields and meadows, so you can fully enjoy the garden and relax. This can be done on two separate private terraces with stylish garden furniture. One terrace is completely covered and therefore ideal for spending time on slightly cooler days. The other terrace features a parasol and stylish garden furniture. In good weather, you can enjoy aperitifs, with views of the fields, the chickens and the beloved ALPACAS! :-) GROUND FLOOR - Through a private door entrance with keypad, you enter the open dining room, kitchen and living room. - The dining room has a large table. - The kitchen includes all modern appliances and basic amenities, including an induction hob, microwave, oven, coffee maker, kettle, refrigerator and freezer. - The adjoining living room exudes tranquility through the large windows and the high ceiling up to the ridge with hanging stylish lamps. There are several seats and sofas, including a reading chair overlooking the alpaca meadow. - In the living room, there is a cozy wood-burning stove. - The living room features a large smart TV and free access to our Netflix subscription. - Air conditioning, heating and curtains/blackout options are available on the entire ground floor. - From the ground floor, you have access to the two terraces. SECOND FLOOR - The first floor is accessible via a spacious staircase, finished in oak. - In the hallway, there is a built-in closet and a washing machine. - From there, you have access to two master bedrooms, each with a king-size double bed. Bedding is always provided. - Each bedroom has an en-suite bathroom with spacious walk-in shower, shampoo, shower gel, sinks, mirrors, hair dryer and toilet. Towels are always provided. - In the largest bedroom, there is enough space to place two extra single beds or cots. - The largest bedroom has a desk and sitting area overlooking the gardens. - Each room and bathroom has blackout options. - In each bedroom, there are custom-made closets, where all your clothes and belongings can be stored. - Each bedroom has a smart TV with free access to our Netflix subscription. - Each bedroom and adjoining bathroom has air conditioning and heating. The entire vacation home is high-end finished and is equipped with Ethernet ports and free WiFi with strong range :-) Guest access Guests have access to all parts of the fully equipped vacation home, the two terraces and the surrounding garden with alpacas and chickens. Other things to note The historic and picturesque Damme city center is 5 minutes away by car. Departing from the country house, cycling enthusiasts can also reach Damme and surroundings via beautiful cycling routes. There is bike rental nearby. Hikers are also in the right place, with numerous beautiful hiking trails in the surrounding nature areas. The historic city of Bruges and seaside resort of Knokke can be reached in 15 to 20 minutes by car. Sluis and Cadzand (NL) are 25 minutes away. Even a trip to Ghent only takes 45 minutes! Brussels can be reached in a little over an hour. There are several department stores, local bakeries, cheese shops and butchers nearby. In addition, there are plenty of bars and restaurants where you can enjoy a nice meal and drink. Museums and famous sights can be found in abundance in Bruges, Damme and Ghent. There is even a huge golf course a 5-minute drive away, and there are also several sports facilities nearby. The operators provide a warm welcome and are happy to provide all the necessary information about cycling routes, cultural excursions and all other tourist information you need.
