Welcome to Hinterland Heights, a secluded and modern retreat ideal for large groups and families. Nestled atop a plateau in the mountains this property offers unparalleled privacy and space. Enjoy panoramic mountain views, fresh country air, wildlife, and serene rainforest and bushland across 140 acres. With a huge outdoor firepit, bar room, pool table and breathtaking hinterland views, it's perfect for a relaxing peaceful getaway, events and creating amazing lasting memories together. The space Nestled within our expansive property, the main house boasts 4 bedrooms, including a master suite with a king bed, spacious ensuite and indulgent spa bath. Two bedrooms feature queen-size beds, while another offers three single beds. In the inviting lounge room, a cozy fireplace awaits, adjacent to the open-plan kitchen. There are 2 sofas that can be used as beds to add flexibility for larger groups. For added privacy, there is a separate studio with its own entrance, featuring a queen-size bed, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom, washing machine and a generous walk-in robe. The studio includes 2 comfortable single mattresses and a double mattress we can set up on request. Although attached to the main house, it provides a serene retreat for guests. About 20 meters away from the house sits the "Rest Nest" a pod with a queen sized bed and TV. The Rest Nest offers a peaceful quiet sanctuary away from the house. Please note the Rest Nest will only be included if your booking for 15+ people or otherwise requested. Note- The bathroom in the pod is not operational yet. Entertainment abounds in the large entertainment room, complete with a bar, large bar fridge, pool table, dart board, games, and surround sound system. Step outside to discover a sprawling outdoor entertainment and dining area, perfect for memorable gatherings with stunning views. Relax and unwind in the spa pool, or head over to the grassy area where a huge firepit invites you to enjoy a cold one with friends or toast marshmallows under the stars. We also offer a large BBQ and a woodfired pizza oven for the ultimate outdoor experience. Please note we do not provide alcohol at the bar. Situated on a vast 140-acre block, our property offers endless opportunities for exploration along our rainforest trails, ensuring your stay is filled with adventure and relaxation. You are welcome to bring horses and motorbikes, you will be required to sign a waiver before riding or driving on the tracks. We also have a Black Series offroad camper trailer that sleeps 2 people that can be set up upon request to sleep up to 19 guests. This needs to be requested at the time of booking. There is also plenty of room for extra guests to set up tents or swags. Just notify us at the time of booking as there will be a charge for extra guests. We have plenty of room for parking with 20+ parking spaces Experience the peace and tranquility of the mountains while only being 5 minutes from the charming Canungra township. Nearby attractions: 5 minutes to Canungra Hotel Pub 9 minutes to O'Reilly's Vineyards 15 minutes to Sarabah Vineyards 20 minutes to Tamborine Mountain 30 minutes to Movie World, Dream World, Topgolf, etc. 45 minutes to Gold Coast beaches and Surfers Paradise 1 hour to Coolangatta (Gold Coast) Airport 1 hour 10 minutes to Brisbane Airport The property is private and secluded, access is via a long steep 1.2km driveway. The first half of the driveway is concrete and the second half is bitumen however the bitumen has seen better days and is rough in areas but the destination is worth it! Any vehicle will make it up the driveway but you may have trouble if your vehicle is lowered. Please note you will need your own vehicle to access the property. Guest access Guests have full access to the house, self contained studio and 140 acres of bushland. Please note the garages are off limits. Other things to note Please note that during extreme rain for an extended period the property becomes inaccessible. In the rare case this happens you will be refunded in full. We will be developing a tiny home at the lookout in January 2025. The lookout is far away from the house and we will aim to get work done when there are no guests staying however we will let you know if there will be contracters working during your stay.
