Other things to note We have two friendly dogs, Ginja and Lui, and a cat named Luna on our property. All animals are well cared for and vaccinated yearly. If you're not a pet lover, they can stay in their designated area behind the house during your stay, allowing you to enjoy a peaceful atmosphere while still experiencing the charm of our villa While the island is stunning, there are infrastructure challenges, especially in Nungwi: Water: There is no organised water supply in Nungwi, so we rely on a borehole for water. This means that showers may have a slight sprinkle of salt - which is normal throughout Nungwi. Electricity: Frequent power interruptions occur due to government supply. We provide solar lights and support during outages. Electrical wiring is sometimes inconsistent, which can cause lights to flicker or AC units to temporarily switch on and off. This is part of Zanzibar life, and we love hosting guests who understand and appreciate this. Roads: Many roads, including the one leading to the villa, are bumpy and not well-lit.
