From the parking lot monitored by cameras, access to the cottage is via a metal staircase with 6 steps. You will then discover a large living room of 53 m2 where the charm of bricks, stones and beams blends perfectly. In this space you can enjoy the TV by the fireplace thanks to the wood stove located in the seating area. A large dining table will allow you to have your meals all together and finally, in this room there is the open kitchen with its bar, a large cooking piano, office sink, large fridge with freezer and all the necessary appliances and dishes. This room, like all the others, has reversible air conditioning and centralized suction. On this floor there is an industrial-style shower room with its glass roof and double black sink, a separate toilet, a bedroom composed of 2 twin beds of 80 cm, a 2nd bedroom with a queen size bed, a bathroom with a bathtub, double sink and toilet. There is also a 3rd bedroom with a queen size bed, a shower room with toilet, a 4th dormitory-style bedroom with its 4 beds of 90 cm. Finally, on this level there is a 2nd living room of 30 m2 with 2 large sofas, armchairs, TV, foosball, darts, books and board games. A staircase provides access to the floor where the 5th bedroom is located, which, due to its volumes, its stones and exposed framework, has a crazy charm. It is composed of 4 twin beds of 80 cm, which allows all possible configurations, dormitory, family room, 2 couples... On this level, there is also a separate toilet with sink. Access to the exterior is via the 1 st living room thanks to a magnificent stone staircase. On the courtyard side, a large wooden table will allow you to enjoy the beautiful days in the shade of a majestic fir tree. From the courtyard you can access the laundry/summer kitchen area located on the ground floor of the gîte. A real extra room, it is equipped with a washing machine, dryer, sink, dishwasher, fridge, freezer and dishes. Two barbecues are at your disposal (gas and charcoal). Wood for the fireplace as well as garbage cans are also stored there. From this room, you access the other side of the house in a sunny park overlooking our vegetable garden, orchard and animal parks. You can enjoy a 2nd shaded terrace. Children can entertain themselves with the trampoline, swing, ping pong table, badminton net, garden house, dinette and other games. Access to the pétanque court (shared with us) is from this side, just open a gate to access it. The vacation rental is located on a private path that leads to the river 20 m away as well as to the forest, a starting point for hikes. The heart of the village is located just 500 m away on foot, you can enjoy the 4 restaurants in the village with their terraces or simply order pizzas and burgers to enjoy at the cottage. In the village you can visit the magnificent navigable caves, the abbey of 630 listed as a historic monument and its gardens, the wooden hop dryer or simply stroll through the alleys of our pretty medieval village to fully enjoy the river and its pretty washhouses. Ideal for family or friends (baby equipment available on request), ideally located to visit our beautiful region, our gite is located on an 8-hectare property where we live with our son and our many farm animals (chickens, donkeys, sheep, goats) This is our little paradise and we only have one desire, to share it with you. Guest access Use of the entire house, from the summer kitchen on the ground floor, private courtyard in the shade of a huge fir tree, and sunny landscaped grounds, access to the petanque court shared with us. Under no circumstances can you enter the animal enclosures alone. Other things to note We live on the property, we pass through your yard to access our house, farm animals are present (donkeys, goats, sheep, chickens...), we are in the village so no excessive fiestas. We will meet during your stay.
