Wake up among the trees, light the wood stove and slow down. Forest Cabin Moss is a bright Scandinavian-style retreat for up to five guests (maximum four adults), with a sage-green kitchen, comfortable lounge and spacious woodland garden. Add the wood-fired hot tub and sauna for a private wellness experience. With a bunk bed, forest setting and facilities at the neighbouring holiday park, Moss is a lovely choice for couples and families. The space Forest Cabin Moss is a bright Scandinavian-style retreat for up to 5 guests: a maximum of 4 adults, or 2 adults and 3 children. The cabin looks directly onto the forest, and birds and squirrels regularly visit the spacious garden. A wood stove, comfortable corner sofa and 50-inch Smart TV with Netflix make evenings warm and relaxed. 🛏️ Sleeping Moss has two compact bedrooms. Bedroom 1 has a 160 × 200 cm box-spring bed, made up of two 80 × 200 cm mattresses. Bedroom 2 has a bunk bed with a 140 × 200 cm double bed below and a 90 × 200 cm single bed above. The bunk bed sleeps a maximum of 2 adults or 3 children. Duvets, pillows and bed linen are provided. 🚿 Bathroom The bathroom has a spacious rain shower, toilet, vanity and hairdryer. Each guest receives one hand towel and one bath towel. We recommend bringing a bathrobe and slippers for the wellness area. 🍽️ Kitchen The sage-green kitchen is fully equipped with a combination oven/microwave, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso machine and milk frother. Tea towels, hand towels and dishcloths are provided. 🌿 Woodland garden Large sliding doors open directly onto the terrace and spacious, newly planted woodland garden. There is a large picnic table as well as comfortable sun loungers and lounge chairs, so you can always find a pleasant spot in the sun or shade. 🔥 Wood stove The wood stove adds warmth and atmosphere, especially on cool autumn and winter evenings. ♨️ Hot tub + sauna | optional For €60 per night, the wood-fired hot tub and sauna can be added for the exclusive use of your own group. The wellness package always applies to the full stay. It includes firewood and kindling, a hot tub filled with clean water on arrival, and sauna infusion oil. You can easily add the package after booking. Heating the hot tub is part of the experience: spend time outdoors together, tend the fire and then relax among the trees—beneath the stars on clear nights. The supplied firewood may also be used in the indoor wood stove. Please bear in mind that this will leave less wood for the hot tub and sauna. Guest access 🔑 Your own retreat During your stay, Forest Cabin Moss and the entire woodland garden are exclusively yours. 🏊 Forest setting and free holiday-park facilities Moss is located in a small-scale bungalow park surrounded by greenery. Directly next door is the 5-star Capfun Het Stoetenslagh campsite. Guests of Moss can use most facilities free of charge, including the large swimming lake, bowling alley and activities. The campsite only charges €5 per person for the large slides and two indoor pools. The pools are available from 1 May through the end of October. 🌲 Days out From Moss, you can walk or cycle straight into the wooded surroundings of Rheezerveen. Groceries and restaurants are available in nearby towns. Slagharen theme park is close by, while Ommen, Hardenberg and Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen are enjoyable day-trip options. Other things to note ℹ️ Good to know • Families With its bunk bed, woodland garden and facilities at the neighbouring holiday park, Moss is a comfortable base for families. • No pets Moss is kept pet-free to minimise odours and allergens. • No open fires Open fires outdoors are not allowed because of the risk of forest fire. • No smoking, vaping or drugs Smoking, vaping and drug use are not allowed indoors. The smoke detector must not be removed or tampered with. A €500 charge applies for additional cleaning and any resulting damage following a breach. • Cooking without strong odours To keep the cabin fresh for future guests, tabletop grilling, gourmet cooking, fondue, deep-frying and the use of an air fryer are not allowed. • Peace and quiet Feel free to enjoy music, while being considerate of neighbours and the peaceful woodland setting. Outdoor quiet hours are from 10 pm to 9 am. Fireworks are not allowed, including on New Year's Eve. • Hot tub and sauna Before use, carefully read and follow the instructions in the digital Guest Guide and the information folder in Moss. Use of the hot tub and sauna is entirely at your own risk. We are not liable for damage or health problems arising from their use.
