Welcome to our renovated Forest Bungalow 2. This detached house is located directly at the forest in a small-scale holiday park. Tastefully decorated in Scandinavian style and fully equipped with a wood stove, 50 inch TV with Netflix, 2 bedrooms, and a new bathroom and kitchen. In the spacious backyard, you'll find a new barrel sauna and a hot tub with bubbles and jets, optionally available for booking. Relax and enjoy our comfortable home with a stunning view of the forest. The space Discover the cosy interior of our 5-person bungalow (maximum 4 adults or 2 adults and 3 children) and feel right at home from the moment you arrive. From every room you can enjoy views of the forest all year round, accompanied by birdsong and regular visits from squirrels in the garden. For a cosy movie night, relax on the large sofa and easily log into the Netflix account on the 50-inch Smart TV. SLEEPING The bungalow has two compact bedrooms with comfortable beds. All beds are provided with duvets, pillows, duvet covers and fitted sheets. Bedroom 1 features a king-size boxspring bed (2 × 80 × 200 cm). Bedroom 2 has a 3-person bunk bed, with a double bed below (140 × 200 cm) and a single bed above (90 × 200 cm). The bunk bed is suitable for a maximum of 2 adults or 3 children. BATHROOM The bathroom is stylishly designed and features a large vanity unit, a toilet and a spacious rain shower. A hairdryer is available. Each guest receives a towel and a bath towel. We recommend bringing a bathrobe and/or slippers for extra comfort. KITCHEN The kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things, a combi oven/microwave, dishwasher, kettle, Nespresso coffee machine and milk frother. Tea towels, hand towels and dishcloths are provided upon arrival. GARDEN Through the large sliding doors you step directly onto the terrace and into the garden. The garden is spacious and recently replanted. There is a large picnic table on the terrace and several comfortable lounge and sun chairs in the garden. Plenty of spots are available to enjoy sun and shade, birdsong and views of the forest. WOOD-BURNING STOVE Forest Bungalow 2 features a cosy wood-burning stove, perfect for relaxing evenings indoors, especially during the autumn and winter months. PRIVATE WELLNESS: HOT TUB & SAUNA (OPTIONAL) Would you like to make your stay extra relaxing? Book the wellness package and enjoy private wellness with a wood-fired hot tub and sauna in the garden of the bungalow. Heating the hot tub is part of the experience: slow down, enjoy a drink and relax in warmth and tranquillity, surrounded by nature and – on clear nights – beneath a beautiful starry sky. The wellness package can be added optionally, is charged per night and is available only for the entire duration of the stay. The price is € 65 per night. The wellness package includes private use of the hot tub and sauna, firewood and kindling, water in the hot tub upon arrival and sauna infusion oil. After booking, the wellness package can easily be added. The firewood included in the wellness package may also be used for the wood-burning stove. Please note that this will affect the amount of firewood available for the hot tub and sauna. Guest access The guests have access to the entire bungalow and garden. CAPFUN CAMPING The Bungalow is located in a small-scale bungalow park called Stichting Stoetengslag, nestled in the forest. Next to the bungalow park is a large 5-star camping site operated by Capfun. Guests of our bungalow can freely use the camping facilities; a large swimming lake with slides, 2 indoor swimming pools, bowling alley, activities, etc. Only for the use of the large slides and indoor swimming pools, the campsite charges 5 euros per person. The camping's swimming pools are accessible from May 1st to the end of October. RHEEZERBOS Nature lovers will enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Rheezerveen. There are plenty of hiking and cycling routes to discover in the nearby forests and nature reserves. GROCERIES & CATERING For groceries and other necessities, there are several supermarkets and shops nearby. There are also various restaurants and cafes where you can enjoy a meal and a drink. AMUSEMENT Just a few kilometers away, you'll find the amusement park Slagharen, where both young and old can enjoy exciting rides and shows. Wildlands Adventure Zoo Emmen and the historic towns Zwolle, Hardenberg and Ommen are also easily accessible. Other things to note SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN Our Forest Bungalow and garden are very suitable for children. The children will have a lot of fun in the garden, the forest, the hot tub, and all the facilities of the adjacent camping Stoetenslagh! PETS NOT ALLOWED We want to keep our Forest Bungalow pet-free so that odors and allergies are not an issue for our guests. OPEN FIRE OUTSIDE NOT ALLOWED Having an open fire outside is not allowed due to the risk of fire. NO SMOKING/DRUGS/VAPING INSIDE If smoking, vaping, tampering with the smoke detector, or having pets in the bungalow is discovered during or after your stay, we will charge you €500.00 for additional cleaning costs and damages incurred. SCENT POLICY To avoid the smell of the previous tenants, grilling, fondue, frying, and the use of an air fryer are not allowed. PARK RULES Feel free to enjoy music, but please consider the neighbors and the surrounding environment so that everyone can enjoy the relaxed and peaceful atmosphere. It should be quiet outside between 10:00 PM and 9:00 AM. The setting off of fireworks (during New Year's Eve) is not allowed. USE OF THE HOT TUB AND SAUNA AT YOUR OWN RISK The instructions for using the hot tub and sauna can be found in the digital Guest Guide and in the folder in the bungalow. Guests are required to follow these instructions. The use of the hot tub and sauna is entirely at your own risk. We are not responsible or liable for any damage or health issues resulting from their use.
