The space We have completed renovating our entire building at the end of 2023. The cellar studio is designed to be bright, spacious and welcoming, with fun art pictures to make it relaxing to stay in. We also added a mini recreation area with darts board to keep our guests entertained during their stay. If guests wish to cook, we have a fully equipped kitchen with a supermarket nearby. We also provide basic plates, bowls, bib for small kids to eat. As the studio is a cellar, it will be cool in summer and warm in winter. We have installed infrared heaters and extra blankets for winter, and can also provide a fan for summer if needed. Private parking is available in front of the private entrance of the studio, convenient for car or bikes. If guests take the train, we are only a few minutes away from Schwanden station. We do not have a washing machine and tumbler in the cellar studio, but we can help guests do their laundry at a small fee. Guest access Guests will be provided a password for the lockbox before arrival. Other things to note Schwanden is located in the middle of Glarus canton, making it convenient for guests to travel around to explore the region for hiking, cycling and walks in summer, as well as skiing in winter. Our property is also few minutes walk from the train station, supermarket, bank for currency exchange, post office and pharmacy, making it convenient for travellers. There is also a good kebab takeaway and pizza restaurant within few minutes walk for guests who wish to have a quick bite.
