Poolside oasis - outdoor living at its best

Welcome to our family‑friendly home near Sydney city, featuring a lap pool and just a short stroll to Lane Cove National Park. Enjoy the spacious outdoor deck with kitchen, or relax indoors with a pool table and fully equipped kitchen. You will be benefit from our co‑host Julia, who stays onsite to provide local tips and assistance when needed, while your living areas remain private and exclusively yours. The space **Great Location** The location is convenient to all major Sydney tourist destinations: Opera House: 23 minutes drive The Rocks: 19 minutes drive Milsons Point (for Sydney's New Year fireworks): 17 minutes drive Taronga Zoo: 22 minutes drive Harbour Bridge: 20 minutes drive Blue Mountains: 47 minutes drive Sydney's best beaches: all within a 30-minute easy drive, including Mainly and famous Bondi beach. **ROOMs** This is the perfect place for a family getaway or staycation in Sydney. The suburb is part of North Shore Sydney and close to the CBD and all amenities. With a pool and a large backyard, it's ideal for accommodating friends and family gatherings. Bedroom 1: King bed with Ensuite Bedroom 2: Queen bed (and trundle, set up on request) Bedroom 3: Queen bed and trundle (and trundle, set up on request ) Lounge: Sofa bed Extra pillows and blankets can be provided upon request for additional guests. Rooms and beds are made based on the number of guests suggested for the booking, so please ensure you update the correct number of guests. **Kitchen** The kitchen is fully equipped with all cutlery and necessary items for your stay including kettle, hand blender, toaster, coffee machine. Additional supplies can be provided at an extra cost if requested in advance. **Swimming Pool** The swimming pool is a great feature, and we have an extra shower downstairs in the laundry area for your convenience after using the pool. **Additional Notes** Please note that the lower floor is fully separate from the property and our cohost Julia is living there. They will have shared access only to the garden, laundry and pool and have a their own entry to their residence. House Rules 1. No Parties or Loud Music: Parties with loud music are strictly prohibited 🚫 as the property is located in a residential area. Security cameras are on-site for monitoring. We kindly ask our guests to turn down the music and keep noise levels low by 9:00 PM. If any parties are found taking place on the property, a $500 cleaning fee and a $1,000 penalty will be deducted from your deposit, and immediate eviction will follow. 2. Noise Complaints: Any noise complaints from our neighbors after 10:00 PM will result in an additional $1,000 penalty being deducted from your deposit. Guest access Our home can be accessed using a smart lock with the code provided on check in day. Feel free to enjoy our home and use any of our things, the pool and garden is available for use and is shared with a long term tenant downstairs. Please be respectful of the tenant and neighbours. The property backs onto a nature reserve and the back gate leads to a creek and some easy hiking trails. Lane Cove National Park is right on our doorstep and lots of easy walks lead to the national park entrance Other things to note Welcome to our home, you will see our belongings expressing our personality and standards. We welcome you to live in our home, enjoy the things in our home and treat our home as your home. Feel free to use anything, if you use something up or accidentally break anything please consider replacing it or let us know. If you need instructions or not sure how to use or care for something just ask us. At the end of your stay, just remember it's our home so try to leave things tidy as you found it. We provide some basic amenities so you don't have to rush out to the the supermarket when you arrive, just top up when needed. We love cooking and have some essentials we use, feel free to use anything in our pantry, every cook will have use different ingredients - if you have non-perishable foods or ingredients that you haven't used up and don't want to take home feel free to add to the pantry as long as the expiry date is more than 3 months out and it is non-perishable ie no fresh food. Please dispose of any fresh food and empty the fridge when you leave. The dishwasher is provided for your convenience, wipe down any counters, tables and clean up any food mess around the house right away as if it is your home. Broom and mop are available in the kitchen. Your stay includes a cleaning fee which will cover cleaning the sheets, towels, vacuum and cleaning the floors and bathrooms. For longer stays we can arrange a cleaner mid stay, generally we appreciate you keeping our home neat and tidy. Laundry is available with a washing machine and a dryer. Our home is situated in a stunning natural environment surrounded by national parks and wildlife, allowing us to live in harmony with a minimal environmental footprint. We recycle and compost to keep garbage waste to a minimum. You might also encounter some harmless insects around the house, and we provide mosquito spray if you wish to use it. The bins located under the carport are separated into recyclables (yellow), paper/cardboard (blue), garden/green waste (green) and other garbage (red). Please help protect the environment and sort any waste into the right bin. We also compost any fruit and vegetable waste. Two large round compost bins are located in the frog pond behind the gated fence. Help us with our zero waste goal by putting any fruit and vegetable waste into the compost bin, just remember to replace the lid and only add fruit and vegetable waste (no packaging materials, meats, seafood, bones, shells, oil, wood, plastics, metal, glass) We don't smoke so ask that you don't smoke on the property. Strictly no parties. For other events, pls ask. Our home is located in a lovely suburban community with friendly neighbors and we respect their rights to privacy and quiet time after 9:00PM.
