The space Exclusive living experience in the narrowest house in Switzerland Welcome to an exceptional home on four levels that combines absolute privacy with a unique living experience. This special house is aimed at guests who appreciate the unconventional and want to consciously engage in an architectural experience. With a height of around 10 m and a width of only 2.2 m, this building is considered the narrowest residential building in Switzerland. High-quality materials, well thought-out room sequences and clear functionality characterize the living concept – compact, reduced and yet comfortable. Living on four levels - Despite the narrow design, great importance was attached to intelligent use of space: Ground floor: An inviting entrance as an arrival and storage space 1st floor: Compact, very well equipped kitchen and a cozy dining area 2nd floor: Stylish living room with TV and a room with infrared sauna; on the same level there is a modern, separate toilet with sink 3rd floor: Two bedrooms and a modern shower Levels 1 to 3 are only accessible via stairs. Facilities include a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, oven and wine cooler - everything you need for a pleasant stay. Good to know *** Bedroom without daylight: One bedroom has no window. However, the house is equipped with a modern ventilation system that ensures a continuous supply of fresh air. Fans are also available in the summer months. Narrow staircase: The four levels are connected by a narrow staircase. This is safe and easy to walk on, but can be unusual. We recommend leaving heavy luggage in the entrance area. Transport bags for clothes are available there. Not suitable for children: Due to the construction and the open heights, the house is not suitable for children (risk of falling). This house is not a classic vacation home, but a conscious living concept for guests who are looking for something special and appreciate narrower spaces as part of the experience. The rooms in the house are only accessible via a narrow internal staircase. Other things to note ** GOOD TO KNOW ** ** The staircase is equipped with sturdy rungs to ensure the necessary safety of our guests. Due to the height of the house or especially the stairs, we do not recommend our offer for very tall people :) ** Due to its nature, the apartment building is not suitable for children. **🚿Bathroom use Please do not spray water outside the shower area. Our bathrooms are not built for floor-level water use. Do not install hoses or use the hand shower outside the cabin. Any water leakage must be wiped immediately to avoid damage. Please note: damages caused by improper use (e.g. flooding, water damage to floors or furniture) will be fully charged to the guest. ** Thun train station is just a 7-minute walk away via Mühleplatz and a stroll across the Aare. You can park your car in the nearby Schlossberg parking lot with a rain-free connection to the Old Town. ** There is no washing machine and luggage storage before check-in is not possible. ** The apartment must be left as you found it. Please leave our things in the apartment as they are placed. Major soiling of furniture, bed linen and general inventory will be charged additionally.
