The space Welcome to an exclusive designer house with a sauna in the narrowest residential building in Switzerland. At around 10 meters high and only 2.2 meters wide, this house is a real architectural experience. High-quality materials, clever room solutions and a minimalist design create a living experience that is compact, modern and surprisingly comfortable. Perfect for couples, friends, solo travelers, and design lovers who appreciate a special living concept and a central location in Thun. What to expect Ground floor: a welcoming entrance with space to arrive and store things 2nd floor: a well-equipped kitchen with a cozy dining area 2nd floor: a stylish living room with TV, a separate room with an infrared sauna and a modern WC with a washbasin 3rd floor: two bedrooms and a modern shower Amenities include a Nespresso coffee machine, dishwasher, oven, and wine cooler – ideal for relaxing days or a special short stay in Thun. Why guests love this house You will have complete privacy in a unique architectural house, right in the middle of Thun and yet all to yourself. The four levels, the sauna and the special sense of space make the stay an experience that you won't forget in a hurry. Guest access The whole house is at your disposal on 4 floors. The rooms in the house are only accessible via a narrow internal staircase. Other things to note Good to know before booking This is not a standard apartment, but a unique architectural experience in the narrowest residential building in Switzerland. The house is built vertically on several levels and connected by a narrow staircase. The stairs are safe and easy to use, but they can feel unfamiliar at first. The accommodation may be less comfortable for very large guests or guests with limited mobility. Due to the open heights, stairs and special room layout, the house is not suitable for children for safety reasons. One bedroom has no daylight. However, a modern ventilation system continuously provides fresh air. In the summer months, fans are also available. The bathroom is compact and should be used with care. Please shower only inside the shower stall and wipe up any splashes immediately to avoid water damage. Thun Train Station can be reached in about a 7-minute walk via Mühleplatz and the Aare. If you arrive by car, the nearby Schlossberg parking garage offers convenient, rain-protected access to the old town. Please note that there is no washing machine and that luggage storage is not possible before check-in. We ask that you treat the house with care and leave everything in place. Additional cleaning or repair costs may apply in the event of heavy soiling, damage or improper use.
