Villa Alba, Walcheren, Zeeland

We were super happy when we found our dream place 3 years ago in the outskirts of Veere. Broad views over the countryside of Zeeland, yet 10 minutes from Lake Veerse and the North Sea beach. Now that the renovation of the vacation home has been completed, we would like to share this beautiful place with others. It's delicious here! The space In the new annex, the living room is located and a kitchen with all amenities (Nespresso, large fridge, induction hob, hot air oven and dishwasher in the rinsing island). Downstairs are also 2 double bedrooms, a new bathroom with rain shower and a separate toilet, upstairs also two 2 person bedrooms with 2 single beds and a new bathroom. Outside is a garden set for 8 people, there is a BBQ and there are 4 bicycles. On private property possibility to park 5 cars. Villa Alba is located on 5000m2 of land, of which almost 2000m2 garden, the other part is processed by the neighbor farmer with alternating grain, potatoes and red onions. Gapinge is located in the quiet rural outskirts between Veere and Middelburg in Walcheren with ample views over the farm landscape all around, when it is dark you have a fabulous view of the starry sky. During the day, Lake Veerse with its many beaches is nearby and the sea is within cycling distance (9 km). Near the holiday home you can easily charge the car, do the shopping in the farm shop and enjoy walking through the overgrown avenues or on the boot path along the creek. Cycling is truly fantastic with forest, dunes, farmland and bird area interspersed with beautiful towns and villages. For cultural – and of course culinary – adventures are: Veere, Middelburg very close by, Zoutelande and Domburg within fifteen minutes. Finally, Antwerp and Ghent can also be reached within the hour.
