The lounge leads through to the elegant kitchen/diner – the perfect place to get the whole gang together for sociable dinners. Alternatively, head out onto the courtyard garden’s patio and dine alfresco. After dinner, open a bottle of something cool and crisp and watch the stars come out, or head back to the lounge to warm your toes by the glowing wood burner. At the end of the day, you’ll find three beautifully-styled bedrooms waiting for you upstairs: one king-size, one double and 1 twin. In the morning, start your day with a freshly-brewed coffee in the courtyard garden. Pack up a picnic and head off to enjoy the Wells’ fantastic beach (1.5 miles) for the day. Get some Insagrammable snaps by the colourful beach huts, take a stroll out to the bird sanctuary of Blakeney Point, or enjoy a lazy al fresco lunch. Alternatively, make a beeline for the Holkham Estate (3 miles), which is one of the country’s most recognisable Palladian country houses.
