A stone's throw from the Sambre and the city center, at the foot of the citadel, a spacious duplex full of charm and comfort for a Namur excursion. The space The duplex is located within a family home in a townhouse in the city center; it occupies almost the entire second (and last) floor of the house, so you only have to cross the family entrance hall and stairwell to access this private accommodation. This duplex consists of a landing serving a shower room, a separate toilet and a large space on two levels, the first level is a living room that includes a sitting area with TV, as well as a dining area with dining table, fridge-freezer, Nespresso machine and electric kettle (no oven, no stove); the second level is a spacious mezzanine bedroom, including a reading area and storage space for your belongings. All of these rooms are for the exclusive use of guests, you can move around freely and in complete privacy. The accommodation is equipped with Wi-Fi and includes bed linen, towels, dishes and basic consumables (soap, shampoo, toilet paper, coffee, sugar, salt, pepper, etc.). A baby crib, chair, and bathtub are available upon request. Guest access The location is one of the great assets of this accommodation, the house where it is located is in the pleasant district of Salzinne, on a quiet street mainly hosting family homes, offices or student accommodation. This street, however, serves a pedestrian walkway spanning the Sambre and giving very quick access to the city center. The location is therefore ideal since it allows you to benefit from the tranquility and ease of parking of the Namur suburbs while offering very easy access to restaurants, shops and other urban activities. Thus, we are less than a 15-minute walk from the train station, less than a 10-minute walk from the city center and we occupy a central position in relation to the main places of interest that are the citadel and the cable car (5-10 minutes walk), the exhibition center (10 minutes walk), the university (5 minutes walk), the banks of the Sambre and its beautiful weekly market on Saturday morning (less than 1 minute walk), the friendly Grognon district, or the theater and the house of culture (10-15 minutes walk). Street parking is easy and free, but subject to a parking disc from Monday to Saturday between 9 a.m. and 5 p.m. (during this period the car must be moved mid-day, otherwise you risk paying the daily fee of 17 euro). However, on Saturdays, a large free and unlimited parking is available on the street. During your stay We welcome guests upon arrival, the rest of the time we are available as needed, but we remain discreet. So you can enjoy your stay in complete privacy and autonomy, you have a key for the common entrance door and the duplex you occupy is exclusively reserved for you.
