A beautiful classical red-and-white timber house from 1909, set in the heart of Unnaryd—a village surrounded by lakes and forests and rich cultural life. Thoughtfully renovated, the house offers a peaceful and welcoming stay. The village center is just a short walk away, with cafés, local events, and shops selling Swedish crafts. If you love the outdoors, you'll find plenty to do—fishing, canoeing, hiking, and cycling are all within easy reach. The space Situated with a lovely view over the village, the house overlooks the church tower and even offers a glimpse of the lake. Thanks to its positioning and many windows, the home is filled with natural light, creating a bright and welcoming atmosphere. Sleeping Arrangements: The master bedroom offers a comfortable double bed, while the smaller bedroom features a wall-mounted queen-sized bed (140cm). Living & Dining Areas: The living room provides an open, inviting space ideal for unwinding, complete with a fireplace to cozy up during the colder months or enjoy on rainy summer days. For dining, you can choose between the kitchen island with high chairs and the separate dining room. Kitchen: The kitchen is fully equipped with all the essentials, including an induction stove, oven, cooking utensils, and basics like salt and pepper, so you can prepare your favorite meals with ease. Heating & Comfort: Each room has its own adjustable radiator, allowing you to set the temperature to your comfort level. Additionally, the house features a heat pump and a fireplace in the living room, ensuring you stay warm and cozy regardless of the season. Outdoor Space: The garden furniture is easily movable, allowing you to relax in the shade or bask in the sunshine—whatever suits your mood! We look forward to hosting you and ensuring your stay is as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. Guest access Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house during their stay, ensuring complete privacy indoors. Please note that the property includes two separate living areas: the main house and a guesthouse studio in the barn. While the house is entirely yours, the outdoor spaces are shared, so you might encounter other guests or hosts outside. Other things to note Linens and Towels: Bed linens and towels are provided. For longer stays, fresh sets can be arranged weekly upon request. Pets: Dogs are welcome with some conditions—breeds that do not shed and well-behaved dogs only, please. Electric Vehicle Charging: We offer an electric car charger, available for use with prior notice. The cost is 5 SEK per kWh. Checkout Expectations: Before checking out, we ask that you help us by tidying up a bit. We don't expect a deep clean, just that the space is left in a generally clean and orderly state.
