Experience a tropical paradise at this space that sits right inside a 5 star beach resort. Have fun at our quiet beach[no beach salespeople] surrounded by beautiful sand dunes and a wide beach front which you will absolutely love! Malindi jetty is a walking distance on the beach and so is the estuary where Sabaki river flows into the ocean. There are 2 bars, a spa, gym & restaurant in the compound. Malindi airport, Naivas supermarket, Malindi town & entertainment hubs are only 15 minutes away. The space Experience tropical living at this beautiful cottage nestled within a resort that sits right on approximately 10 acres of tropic beauty and tranquility ! This property is located right next to, and shares a compound with a Beach Resort. It is a beachfront property, but the cottage is not right on the sea, because of the vast compound. It is approximately 400 metres away from the beach and not sea view. Guests have direct access to the beach through the resort. The entire property consists of several cottages that surround a big pool that is both adult and child friendly. Guests can take a nap on the sunbeds there as they are serenaded by the soothing water falling from the fountain. On a lazy day, guests can chill out at the beach bar, lounge bar, restaurant / spa in the compound. There are also additional pools and a jacuzzi on the resort side although guests that may want to use these resort amenities have to pay to use them, including the beach beds. The cottage compromises of two bedrooms. Each bedroom has an attached bathroom/ shower / toilet. Each bedroom features a Swahili crafted King-sized bed that comes with a mosquito net. The bedroom comes with an air conditioner and an over head ceiling fan, a dresser and closet. We provide toiletries and towels for your entire stay, as well as hot showers for those of you that love a nice hot shower at the coast. The kitchen comes fully equipped with a cooker, microwave, refrigerator and sufficient cooking utensils, cutlery etc, minus groceries. Chef services are available on request and at a fee. It is important that at this point i emphasize that unlike other properties at the coast, there are no monkeys at this property, so guests don't have to worry about monkeys making away with their bananas 😎 lol The living area comes with a divan sofa that can sleep one person meaning that the entire house can accommodate upto 5 guests. Also comes with a smart TV with Netflix and YouTube and guests can enjoy other live streaming apps. There's a patio as well with more seating space and also features a dining area overlooking the pool with a beautiful view of the garden and many palm trees. The property architecture is generally Swahili & Mediterranean inspired, and so is our furniture, all Swahili handcrafted ; an overall ambience that oozes cool coastal vibes. The cottage comes with housekeeping staff. Housekeeping and change of linen is done every two days. Meaning the housekeeper is not always there in between cleaning, but can be, if needed by the guests. The house comes with a cloth drying rack and guests that may want to have their laundry done can have that done at an extra fee and can arrange this directly with the housekeeper. The property is manned by a top security company 24/7 and is generally safe and secure. Parking is free and secure. NB: This is more of a cottage condo, meaning you get one floor. You can choose between a house on the ground floor or 1st floor with beautiful views of the pool and garden. To avoid any inconveniences, Guests that have accessibility challenges / want a specific floor should please first enquire with me and check if the house on the ground floor is available before they book.. otherwise, i always assign the unit on the 1st floor to guests since most of them prefer being on the upper floor. Happy booking ! 😎 Guest access Guests have access to the entire house and shared amenities such as the pool and sun loungers on the cottage side. Guests also have free access to the beach. However, guests that may want to use the amenities for the adjacent resort such as the Spa, gym, jacuzzi, extra pools, sun and beach loungers are required to pay a fee at the resort reception. Other things to note There is a pool attendant, but no lifeguard at the pool / beach and guests are responsible for their children at all times. Children must be supervised at all times. We are not liable for any loss or damage to life or property. Guests are liable for any loss or damage to items / property in the premises. Parties, loud music/ disturbance of any kind is not allowed.
