Authentic and family atmosphere, you will be "at home" during your stay. Welcoming and quietly located on a residential street, its "vintage" look and garden give it a family atmosphere that immediately puts you at ease. Mauritian simplicity and authenticity! The ground floor is dedicated to welcoming our Guests and includes: - 2 bedrooms with a double bed and a single bed (sleeps 3) - 1 bedroom with a double bed (sleeps 2) and 1 baby bed - 1 equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, stove, coffee maker, kettle...) - 1 bathroom (sink, shower with hot water, bidet and washing machine) The kitchen and the bathroom are shared. A welcome kit (coffee, tea, blue pea herbal tea) is available to our visitors in the kitchen, as well as a filtered water fountain. Each room is equipped as follows: - linens & towels - fan - Bugs & mosquito net kit - Interior and exterior lock IMPORTANT: This listing is for renting one of the 3 bedrooms only. We live upstairs and are there for you if you need anything during your stay: questions about local customs, advice and information, organization of visits, transportation or boat trips. At home you will get to know our garden and a great variety of local, medicinal and aromatic plants, which we also use in cooking (organic culture)! Our dogs, including the legendary Saki, will welcome you and you can enjoy the garden area including a large convivial table, a hammock and a shaded bench. Other things to note Snack & Onsite Catering: Steeve is a professional cook and prepares your meals and breakfasts to order (extra charge). Mauritian dishes, samoussas and gajaks, topped breakfasts (with fresh fruit, bread, butter & gourmet jams), meal baskets for your outings, everything is cooked "homemade" with carefully selected ingredients. Note: we grow our aromatic plants, lettuce and salads, tomatoes and cucumbers, blue peas... You can taste them in good dishes! Hygiene: We use eco-friendly household products (laundry detergent, disinfectant, dish soap...) made in Mauritius. Our house welcomes a lot of local animals (dogs, cats, chickens, birds): we are focused on a simple and authentic life, with ease, between the blue of the lagoon and the green of Nature!
