Charming cottage on the hill

Welcome to our charming turn-of-the-century manor with panoramic views of the sea and the village, up on a cliff, secluded in the middle of nature but still only a few hundred meters from restaurants and cafes. The home is located in an idyllic environment, but it is worth mentioning that you can hear traffic from the nearby road.  Bookings: High season: June 1 to August 31, minimum two nights. Low season: May 4 to May 31, September 1 to October 31, all days, minimum two nights. The space This cozy cottage exudes a real Swedish summer idyll and accommodates six people. The cottage has year-round standard and has recently been carefully renovated with respect for the turn-of-the-century style. The accommodation has a well-equipped kitchen with everything you need, including a dishwasher and microwave. The cozy living room overlooking nature, cliffs, the sea and the village, has a well-functioning tiled stove, a large dining table with room for eight people, an inviting sofa and rocking chair. There is one bedroom with a 140 cm bed on this floor. From the hall, a staircase leads to the upper floor where there are two spacious bedrooms with 160 beds, a baby bed and good storage. Upstairs there is also a bathroom with toilet and sink as well as a shower/bathtub combination. There's also a washing machine and dryer upstairs. Guest access Guests have access to the entire cottage and the garden on their own. The cottage has an air-source heat pump on the first floor. Guests have access to Wi-Fi and the option to charge their electric vehicle outside the door on the property for a fee of SEK 5.50/kWh. Made beds and clean towels are included. The cottage is surrounded by a large natural garden with rocks, woods, and space for play, socializing, and barbecuing; a charcoal grill is available for guests. There are sun loungers and a dining table in the garden. There is plenty of parking space, either up by the cottage or halfway up, 100 m (328 feet) from the cottage if you have a large car. Other things to note Surroundings The cottage is about 300 meters from Gamleby square, where there are a few restaurants and cafés. During the summer, there is the possibility of bowling at Classic Bowling Gamleby, 1.6 km from the house. 800 meters away there is a large ICA store, Systembolaget, pharmacy and a library. You can take a walk by the sea which is about 500 meters away or go to the very child-friendly sandy beach KustCamp Gamleby which is 2.5 km away. There is also access to a restaurant and café. There is a bus stop 300 meters from the cottage, from there you can take the bus, for example, to Västervik or all the way to Stockholm if you want. From the village, you can also take the train all the way to Linköping. So you can have a comfortable and cozy vacation at our beloved cottage even without access to a car. The cottage is located right by Garpedansberget with hiking trails, a troll forest for children and viewpoints. Directly outside the property boundary there is the possibility of rock climbing. Nearby excursions Västervik, where there is much to experience, ranging from high-class restaurant experiences, shopping and golf to adventure pools and nature experiences, is 20 km away. In Västervik, there are also Archipelago boats that take you to many beautiful islands in Tjust's archipelago. Vimmerby with Astrid Lindgren's World and Vimmerby Adventure Park is about 40 km away. The beautiful summer town of Kalmar is 150 km away.
