Location: Svolvær: The accommodation is just a 5-minute drive from the popular Svolvær, which today is Lofoten's largest fishing village and one of the most populous settlements in the archipelago. From here, you can, among other things, go on sea eagle safari by Rib to Trollfjorden, fishing trips, sailing, charter boat, or you can climb the popular Svolværgeita. From Svolvær, there is also a short distance to numerous great hikes and peak tours. For example, Linken is centrally located and is a short but nice low-threshold hike that suits both children and adults well. If you want a bigger challenge, you can hike up Fløya (590 meters above sea level) and Djevelporten, where you walk up a Sherpa staircase and at the top, you can enjoy a fantastic view of Svolvær. In Svolvær, you will also find a bustling cultural life, for those interested in Lofoten's history and art. We recommend a visit to Magic Ice Lofoten (Gallery), Nordnorsk kunstsenter, Galleri Gunnar Berg, Lofoten War Memorial Museum, Fikseværvandring, and Galleri Dagfinn Bakke. The city also offers all facilities from restaurants, cafes, shops, and everything else you might need. Kabelvåg: The accommodation is also within a short distance to Kabelvåg, the oldest fishing village in Lofoten. Here you will find a charming community with a rich history.
