The space Upon entering the house, the high ceilings, generously proportioned rooms and comfortable, stylish furnishings will make you feel instantly relaxed. The expansive windows, French doors and spacious verandahs will seamlessly connect you to the gorgeous Mudgee panorama. Lazy Frog Lodge can comfortably sleep up to 12 guests, with an additional 2 single floor mattresses to sleep 14 guests available on request. Four of the six bedrooms feature French doors opening onto the 30-metre-long front verandah, inviting you to unwind while resident kangaroos and wallabies graze. Or sit back on the comfortable lounge chairs and watch the sun set, while savouring local wines, olives and cheese. Cook up a feast in the spacious, fully equipped stone kitchen which boasts an island bench, induction stove, full-sized fridge, dishwasher and a Vertuo Nespresso machine in the walk-in pantry. Alternatively, barbecue your meal on the covered outdoor deck where you may spot an occasional deer wandering by. Enjoy your dinner together at one of two 12-seater dining tables, either inside or outdoors. After dinner, gather around the beautiful fire pit (with complimentary firewood supplied) nestled into the hill behind the house to toast marshmallows, then immerse yourself in the luxury spa accommodating 10-12 guests, with a glass of your favourite local wine in hand. As night falls, marvel at the star-studded country sky, or venture to Mudgee Observatory for a captivating evening of stargazing. Whatever the weather, your comfort is assured with fully ducted, reverse cycle air conditioning throughout the house, complemented by ceiling fans. All bedrooms have plush carpet plus electric blankets and cozy doonas for warmth during winter. Sink into generous lounges by the wood-burning heater with a novel, a puzzle, or a board game from our extensive collection. Two separate living rooms, each with a 65-inch digital TV, ensure that there is plenty of room for everyone to be together, but also to spread out and not feel crowded. The three spacious bathrooms offer over-sized walk-in showers, with the main bathroom also featuring a stunning free standing, claw-foot bathtub. Quality bed linen and towels are provided. And if you drive an electric car, you are welcome to use our Fronius Level 2 EV charger (7kw) at no additional charge. If you are travelling with infants, we have two portacots with fitted sheet, bath towel and face washer, plus 2 highchairs and change mats at no extra charge. Guest access You’ll have access to the entire home when you stay here, so it will feel like your own. Lazy Frog Lodge shares the property with one other residence (Green Tree Cottage), which is located a good distance away. Before arriving at the property, there’s a short distance of dirt road which is suitable for regular cars. Our driveway is all-weather. Access to Lazy Frog Lodge is via a key in a lock box at the property, and the code will be provided on the day of your arrival. We kindly ask when you check out to please place the keys back in this lock box and scramble the code. Other things to note The property runs solely off rainwater. We kindly ask you to be careful with water consumption where possible. There are 2 dams on the property. Please keep an eye on young children. The dams are not suitable for swimming.
