With private access to the beach, the kids can build sandcastles, explore rock pools, swim or fish all within the view of the house. You cannot get any closer to the beach. Wake up to water views across to Spectacle Island, breathe in the ocean air, and wander straight onto Blue Lagoon Beach with a coffee in hand. This is the definition of a coastal weekend escape. The outdoor area allows you to dine by the ocean, roast marshmallows at the fire pit and access the beach via your own private access. There are 3 bedrooms which sleep 6 people. There is a large living area with plenty of comfy seating, a TV and fireplace. The separate dining is drenched with sunlight and seats up to 8 people. There is also a sunroom with an office desk and a daybed, which can be used for an extra guest if required. The sunny kitchen contains a dishwasher, microwave, fridge, freezer, coffee machine, kettle and plenty of other cooking equipment and utensils. There is also an outdoor BBQ provided. Fancy more challenging surfing conditions than the calm waters of Blue Lagoon Beach then Park & Carlton beach (and the surf life saving club) is only minutes away.  A public Jetty, large children’s park, cafes and supermarket are also only a short stroll away.  This is an ideal location to explore the Tasman Peninsula (including the historical Port Arthur site), as well as the historic town of Richmond.  Dodges Ferry is nestled between 2 wine regions and is an easy 35 minutes drive to all the fabulous restaurants and shops on offer in Hobart.  Many guests get to see the wonderful Aurora Australis, also known as the Southern Lights from the beach right in front of the house.
