This unique monumental accommodation has been renovated and transformed in its own style into a guest house with its own entrance. We warmly welcome you to our brand new and cozy guest house! For the first few days, everything is ready in the house so you can start enjoying yourself right away! Including made-up bed, bath and kitchen linens. The house is located on the outskirts of the hills +/- 10km from Maastricht and borders Voerstreek (BE). In short, perfect for a surprising getaway!! The space The accommodation (about 60 m2) consists of the entire upper floor of the former barn behind the house, accessible by stairs with private entrance. We live with our family on the front of the house. In the guesthouse, it is very quiet due to the further location of the road. It contains a large open living space with open kitchen large dining table and a spacious lounge sofa with smart TV and lovely soft mat on the ground. The house is nicely furnished and accessories can change with season. The bedroom has a king size bed (2x 90x200cm) , made up king size duvet (2x single duvet also possible on request) and a spacious wardrobe, with adjoining the bathroom with walk-in/rain shower. Includes plenty of towels. Separate toilet with toilet paper for the first days. Spaces have A/C to warm up and cool. Kitchen has all the comforts; senseo & water cooker, refrigerator with freezer compartment, Dishwasher, Induction hob, Separate oven/microwave. Plenty of crockery, pans, glasses, etc. The first cup of coffee and tea, pepper and salt, paper towels, dish soap, dishwashing brush, dishcloth, sponge and some dishwasher tablets are provided. Possibility to store bicycles in the storage room. Bicycle rental possible via host some villages down the road. There are some hiking and biking maps available in the property. Shared outdoor space, the garden is narrow and mostly in the shade. In the summer there is a little longer the morning sun. Unfortunately, the garden is not that big. We don't mind if you take a seat in the garden or move a chair to sit in the sun. There is plenty of parking space and free of charge along the public road. A little further down the street is a cozy restaurant with a nice terrace. More restaurants and shops can be found in the village center (about 2 km). Please keep the driveway next to our house free and park along the road! The asphalt driveway is not ours. Other things to note The guesthouse is attached to our house, but you hardly notice anything from each other. The access is due to our narrow but cozy garden where the children like to play outside. The apartment is on an upper floor that is accessible by a regular staircase. Upstairs in the apartment, this staircase is not lockable. As a result, there is an open stairwell in the living area that can be dangerous for children! Staying with a baby or child is always in consultation.
