This unique monumental accommodation has been renovated and transformed into a guest house with its own entrance in its own style. We warmly welcome you to our brand new and cozy guest house! For the first few days, everything is ready in the house so you can start enjoying yourself right away! Including made-up bed, bath and kitchen linens. The house is located on the outskirts of the hills +/- 10km from Maastricht and borders Voerstreek (BE). In short, perfect for a surprising getaway!! The space The accommodation (approximately 60m2) consists of the entire upper floor of the former barn behind the house, accessible via a staircase with its own entrance. We live with our family at the front of the house. In the guest house, it is very quiet due to the further location of the road. It includes a large open living area with open kitchen, a large dining table and a spacious lounge sofa with a smart TV and a lovely soft mat on the floor. The house is nicely furnished and accessories can change with the season. The bedroom has a king-size bed (2x 90x200cm), made up king-size duvet (2x 1-person duvet on request also possible) and a spacious wardrobe, with adjacent the bathroom with walk-in/rain shower. Includes plenty of towels. Separate toilet with toilet paper for the first days. Rooms are equipped with air conditioning to heat and cool. The kitchen is fully equipped; Senseo and kettle, Fridge with freezer compartment, Dishwasher, Induction hob, Separate oven/microwave. Plenty of crockery, pans, glasses, etc. The first cup of coffee and tea, pepper and salt, kitchen paper, dishwashing detergent, dishwashing brush, dishcloth, sponge and some dishwasher tablets are provided. Possibility to store bicycles in the storage room. Bike rental is possible through the host a few villages away. There are some hiking and cycling maps available in the house. Shared outdoor space, the garden is narrow and usually in the shade. In the summer, there is a little more morning sun. Unfortunately, the garden is not very big. We don't mind if you take a seat in the garden or move a chair to sit in the sun. Parking is plentiful and free along the public road. A little further down the street, there is a cozy restaurant with a nice terrace. More restaurants and shops can be found in the village center (about 2 km). We warmly welcome you! Thijs and Dionne Guest access The use of the terrace in our garden is allowed. You will walk through there to enter the guesthouse entrance. Please keep the driveway next to our house clear and park along the road! The asphalt driveway is not ours. Other things to note The guesthouse is attached to our house, but you hardly notice each other. The entrance is through our narrow but cozy garden where the children like to play outside. The apartment is on an upper floor that is accessible by a regular staircase. At the top of the apartment, this staircase is not lockable. As a result, there is an open stairwell down in the living area that can be dangerous for children! Staying with a baby or child is always in consultation.
