From the backyard, you can walk straight into the forest. The chalet has an ideal location. It’s a wonderful place to stay, with many hiking and cycling routes in the area. Drentsche Aa National Park is a region rich in history and nature – you might spot dolmens and deer. Assen and Groningen are nearby: the perfect combination of city and nature. It’s perfect for two people, but with an extra bedroom featuring a bunk bed, it’s also great for four guests. The chalet has a cozy and spacious living area with a well-equipped kitchen, a dining table, and a bathroom with a shower and toilet. The terrace is large and features a lovely veranda with a lounge set and a small wood stove. A fun touch: you can gather your own firewood in the backyard – the forest! Dogs are welcome, and the surroundings are perfect for beautiful walks. The garden is almost fully enclosed, allowing your four-legged friends to roam freely. Other things to note The chalet is located on a holiday park that is still under development. Tourist tax (€1.50 per person per night) is settled separately shortly before arrival. Guests are required to register their stay and provide their car’s license plate number; this allows the barrier at the entrance to open.
