Tiny House The Cabin

Do you really want to get away for a while? Fancy a green environment? Stay in our brand new Tiny House "The Cabin." Enjoy your own piece of greenery, in the middle of the cozy center of the Drenthe village Peize. You will be staying close to the beautiful nature reserve of the Onlanden and within cycling distance of the bustling city of Groningen. On the sunny terrace, you are surrounded by greenery overlooking the beautiful old mill. Restaurants "Bij Boon", "De Peizer Hopbel", the bakery and the supermarket are within walking distance. The space The cozy Tiny House (approx. 18m2) was built in 2024 from sustainable materials. Solar panels provide electricity and hot water (30 liters of water heater). Inside you will experience the real feel of a Tiny House; wood, lots of light and green. Small and compact yet very comfortable. Through the French doors you will enter the sunny deck terrace. Here you are in the middle of the greenery overlooking the beautiful old mill of Peize. Your stay is further equipped with a sitting area, kitchenette with refrigerator (note: no stove!) and everything you need for food and drinks. Nespresso cups and Clipper tea are available. The bathroom is equipped with all the comforts and sleeping in a slightly elevated bed (140*210 cm), so you have all the space for your luggage underneath. Other things to note PRACTICAL INFORMATION COFFEE & TEA Nespresso cups and Clipper tea are provided. A Nespresso machine, kettle, sugar and coffee milk are provided. KITCHEN In the kitchen you will find a mini fridge, plates, cutlery, glasses, cups and more. Please note: no stove! There is pepper, salt, dishwasher detergent and also garbage bags a tea, hand and dish cloth. There is a microwave available, which we can set up for you in the kitchen. If you miss anything, please let us know. Please note; the glasses are made of recycled glass and not suitable for hot drinks. TRASH In the kitchen, you will find a small trash can. Outside, in addition to residual waste, you can also dispose of plastic waste, paper, glass and GFT. We will dispose of this waste for you later and try to recycle as much waste as possible in this way. Extra trash bags can be found in the kitchen. WATER HEATER/ SHOWER Water comes out of the water heater and it is almost instant hot. You have about 8 minutes of continuous shower time. After that, it takes an hour before there is hot water again for 8 minutes. Our house has 12 solar panels with which we generate as much of the power ourselves. HEATING You can control the temperature in the cottage yourself. Above the couch you will find the A/C/Heating combination. On the table you will find the remote control with a short explanation when you enter. SUPERMARKET The PLUS supermarket is 150 meters away, directly past restaurant 'De Peizer Hopbel' (8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). WIFI Network: TinyHousesPeize Password: welcomeindetinyhouse UNDER THE BED Under the bed, there is plenty of space to store your luggage. You will also find an extra blanket, the microwave and all kinds of useful things, should you have forgotten to bring something. CHECK-OUT Check-out time is 11 a.m. You may leave the key in the door and send an app / message through Airbnb when you leave. Any questions or tips?
