Tiny House The Cabin

Do you really want to get away for a while? Fancy a green environment? Stay in our brand new Tiny House "The Cabin." Enjoy your own piece of greenery, in the middle of the cozy center of the Drenthe village Peize. You will be staying close to the beautiful nature reserve of the Onlanden and within cycling distance of the bustling city of Groningen. On the sunny terrace, you are surrounded by greenery overlooking the beautiful old mill. Restaurants "Bij Boon", "De Peizer Hopbel", the bakery and the supermarket are within walking distance. The space The cozy Tiny House (approx. 18m2) was built in 2024 from sustainable materials. Solar panels provide electricity and hot water (30-liter boiler). Inside, you will experience the real feeling of a Tiny House; wood, lots of light and greenery. Small and compact, yet very comfortable. Through the French doors, you will enter the sunny deck terrace. Here you are in the middle of the greenery overlooking the beautiful old mill of Peize. Your stay is also equipped with a sitting area, kitchenette with refrigerator (note: no stove!) and everything you need for food and drinks. Nespresso cups and Clipper tea are available. The bathroom is equipped with every comfort, and you sleep in a slightly elevated bed (140*210 cm), so that you have all the space underneath for your luggage. Other things to note PRACTICAL INFORMATION COFFEE & TEA Nespresso cups and Clipper tea are provided. A Nespresso machine, kettle, sugar and coffee milk are provided. KITCHEN In the kitchen, you will find a mini-fridge, plates, cutlery, glasses, mugs and more. Please note: no stove! There is pepper, salt, dishwashing liquid and also garbage bags, a tea towel, hand towel and dish towel. There may be a microwave available, which we can set up for you in the kitchen. If you are missing something, please let us know. Please note: the glasses are made of recycled glass and are not suitable for hot drinks. WASTE In the kitchen you will find a small trash can. Outside, you can dispose of plastic waste, paper, glass and organic waste in addition to residual waste. We will dispose of this waste for you later and try to recycle as much waste as possible. Extra garbage bags can be found in the kitchen. HOT WATER/SHOWER Water comes out of the boiler and it is almost immediately warm. You have about 8 minutes of continuous shower time. After that, it takes a little less than an hour before there is hot water for 8 minutes again. Our house has 12 solar panels with which we generate as much of the electricity as possible. HEATING You can control the temperature in the cottage yourself. Above the couch you will find the Air conditioning/Heating combination. On the table, you will find the remote control with a short explanation. SUPERMARKET The PLUS supermarket is 150 meters away, directly past restaurant 'De Peizer Hopbel' (8:30 a.m. - 8:00 p.m. and Sunday from 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.). WiFi Network: TinyHousesPeize Password: welkomindetinyhouse UNDER THE BED Under the bed is plenty of space to store your luggage. You will also find an extra blanket, the microwave and all sorts of useful items, should you have forgotten to bring something.
