Welcome to Sweet Retreat by Tiny Away! Our family has been farming in Bundaberg for 163 years, since 1870. This tiny house offers privacy with no children allowed. Guests can enjoy a pool area, barbecue facilities, and a fire pit. Conveniently located near Bundaberg’s iconic attractions—the Bundaberg Rum Distillery (1.5 km) and the Bundaberg Brewed Drinks Barrel Tourist Centre (2 km)—it’s also just 10 minutes from Bargara Beach and 4 km from the CBD. #TinyHouseQueensland #HolidayHomes The space Sweet Retreat by Tiny Away is a charming tiny house located in the peaceful suburbs of Bundaberg, just an hour from Hervey Bay. Nearby coastal spots like Coral Cove, Burnett Heads, and Elliot Heads offer great fishing, beach walks, and swimming, plus Moore Park Beach, a sea turtle nesting site. Among Queensland unique holiday homes, our retreat sits on a lush paddock with beautiful river views, a small orchard, and seasonal crops. The farm stay features a spacious pool and a barbecue area, perfect for relaxing and entertaining. A cozy 139-square-foot tiny home with easy water access, split air conditioning, a kitchenette, cooking equipment, and excellent bathroom facilities. These amenities include an eco-friendly cassette toilet with a removable waste holding tank, hand basin, and gas-heated shower. Guest access Guests can access the tiny home, pool area, and paddock. However, they will have restricted access to the two other houses, the shed, and barn. We advise guests that they are not allowed in the pool area after 9 PM as it is a shared space/area of the property. Other things to note - Weber BBQ Grill available - No smoking allowed on the property - No unregistered visitors or guests allowed - Breakfast is available by prior notice from the host - WiFi available; password will be sent prior to booking - Telstra, Optus, and Vodafone have good signals; others have no signal - Given the rural setting, children are welcome under CLOSE ADULT SUPERVISION - We would like to advise guests that longer stays or later check-outs will incur an additional charge Safety guidelines - Please exercise caution around kangaroos; please avoid carelessly touching them - Please avoid walking through tall grass or grasslands as snakes are abundant in the area. - To ensure your safety, it is recommended that you wear long, loose-fitting pants and closed-toe shoes, such as boots or sneakers. Important note: - BBQ grills and outdoor fire pits are not available during a total fire ban - For stays of 5 nights or more, an additional cleaning fee will be collected to help maintain our cassette toilets and ensure a clean and fresh experience for all guests.
