The picturesque market town of Tenterden is close by and offers a more comprehensive range of independent boutique shops, cafes and restaurants and is also home to the award-winning Chapel Down Vineyard and Kent & East Sussex Railway. The space Hop aboard the steam train and take a meandering trip through the beautiful High Weald Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty to Bodiam Castle which is at the end of the line. For keen walkers, the Kent countryside boasts an abundance of beautiful walks, and this is also a fantastic base from which to explore the Kent and East Sussex coastline. Enter this pretty chocolate box cottage that was once a former Coach House into the welcoming hallway with an impressive, vaulted ceiling that offers a light and airy feel. To your left is a warm and cosy lounge with a comfy sofa and two armchairs in which to curl up with a good book, or alternatively get the family together for an evening of board games. Head on through from the hall into the open plan kitchen/diner with contemporary units, quartz worktops, stylish lighting and two sets of bi-fold doors to the garden. This is a light and airy space in which to prepare and enjoy meals at the dining table with seating for all. In the kitchen, you will find everything you will need for whipping up a delicious meal including double electric oven and induction hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge/freezer, and coffee machine, and after dinner retreat to the sofa and armchairs that overlook the garden for a sociable evening of entertaining. For those that want to catch up on their favourite box sets or TV programs, the snug offers a large corner sofa on which all the family can snuggle up in front of the 55" 4KSmart TV with special Game Mode for those avid gamers (bring your own PlayStation/Xbox) on those wet and chilly days. The ground floor is completed with a cloakroom with WC and a handy utility cupboard with a washer dryer and space for storing coats and shoes.
